She's in, get hyped.

Her achievement also makes me think of some good times. "Friends with Benefits", I believe it's called.
Wait, it's her? o_o
In the card she is... different.

It is.
And she is.

Hopefully she'll wear the wreath at least at some point in her quests. If she wore it all the time, then Fringilla would probably indeed kill herself, for she wouldn't stand all that smashing fashion.

Well... is it an artwork or they fight together a while?

It'd be amazing if Geralt got through the entire game without fighting alongside Yen. Or fighting Yen, for that matter...

Oh man, Keira Metz...sorry Fringilla... :hatsoff:

How very catty of you.
But, seriously, do you expect Geralt to not have at least one fight with Yen? It might come due to disagreements with her opinions or plans on Ciri. Or something trivial, like Geralt spending some time with Triss in W2, no matter how hard you try to avoid her.
If she is a shrew, she's not the one you can tame.

It depends on how Yennefer will be portrayed and how long she stayed with amnesia.

She will be snippy with him from the first moments. It is good natured though, for the most part. I think they'll get along just fine.

And that's completely understandable. Triss, depending on how you look at it, indeed could act rather dishonest or even shady in the games. And while her book introduction was great (how can you not love a girl that almost shits herself to death?), her loyalty to the Lodge really muddles things up towards the end.

While Yen... is quite the character. It's probably safe to say that on everyone who's read the books she left a definite impression - good, bad, maybe mixed, - and that's a sign of a strong character.
I thought her behaviour in the short stories, before Ciri showed up, was rather off-putting, to say the very least. After that, she really has her fantastic moments, even if sometimes her actions may be questionable. If it wasn't for that, I'd probably be on the #TeamYen right about now.

I agree. To me, Triss was a very likeable character from the start. I am not saying she was a little angel because she obviously wasn't. But among the other sorceresses she seemed quite kind, friendly and I would also say "sensitive". Liked her cheerful, playful personality, clearly wasn't a bitter, malicious hag. Of course, she had her flaws, made mistakes, not to mention initially was cripplingly insecure and sometimes annoyingly weak. But in my opinion that's what made her human and a believable character. A young sorceress who had to fight her own battle to become a strong, brave woman.
On the other hand we have Yen who is totally opposite of Triss. To be honest, initially I couldn't stand her, hated her personality in the short stoiries and the way she behaved towards Geralt just made me sick... But after reading Blood of Elves I started liking her and realized that under the surface she was a very caring person. She earned my respect in the books and became of my favorite female characters (even though I was never fond of her relationship with Geralt). All in all, as you said she is a well-written character who evokes strong emotions in the readers (love and hate - but that's what her character is all about).

Tangentially related, but didn't Triss have the hots for Eskel? There was something in Blood of Elves i didn't get until i read the wedding short story. And, although the wedding short story wasn't canon, do you think there might be some of that in tw3 (re: Eskel x Triss)? It'd be cool to notice something happening there and it not being quite clear until you make more decisions and have firmly moved in the direction of either Yen or Triss, jus' saying. You're not the only man Triss could have eyes for (and certainly not the only witcher) :p
