The Yennefer/Triss choice in TW3

Geralt and Yennefer arguing? Yeah sure, I bet they will be arguing most of the time. They can both be quite stubborn at times. Well Yennefer is stubborn all the time. There is also definitely the setting for them to argue.

But fight? There is no way they would really fight. Fist fighting is just dumb to imagine and wrestling can easily turn into something else. But Yennefer throwing fireballs at Geralt while he is slashing her face? Nope. There is no way that would happen.

We could see however Yennefer cast some spells on Geralt. Like she has done before in the books.

I don't going state on for Yen at this point. Two years doing it is more than enough. I know my own reasons and taste. I am not so conceited enough to believe that my ideas are the only valid, and that in the game I will find what I imagine. CDPR love Yen for years when they read the novels. And they also love Triss (games's) because it is their creation. I hope to find enough details to make possible I prefer to be with one or on the other, practically on equal terms.

I hope we see their first encounter in the flashbacks and the part when she makes a puppet of him and Geralt calling her mistress before beating Yennefer's ennemies. I can't wait to see them fight the Djinn too. Oh boy I can't wait. As for the arguing part, they always end up full of tenderness. Love this two so much it becomes scary..

Come on we all know that Yennefer and Geralt arguing is basically = Yennefer and Geralt flirting. There is not much difference, it's an integral part of their relationship.

I agree they would never be seriously fighting unless one of them is influenced by powerful unnatural sources.

I was talking about Eskel x Triss x Geralt which is so implausible I don't think it needed to be denied

I'd love to see a nonsensical fist-fighting scene with Yen, but it's not quite what I meant. No fireballs, no brainwashing spells, just... slightly more passionate argument than usual. I definitely can't see Yen or Triss straight up attacking Geralt. But what happens if your views on, say, Ciri's fate or the North start to differ radically? Catfights, that's what.

And to be honest, I'd be surprised if Yen tried to pull some of the shit from the short stories on Geralt again. I kinda thought she's grown out of it already. Just like Emhyr with the whole "plough your daughter to rule the world" thing.

I have to admit, you'd know more about catfights than I do.
Perhaps Ciri's fate will be decided after you reach her and that's the perfect time for everyone to start arguing. Does Emhyr want her to rule the Empire? Does Yen support it or she's just using him to get to Ciri? How does Triss figure into this? What can Ciri say for herself anyway? Is there another party involved, someone like Vilgefortz? There's a lot of things we can't know yet, but I can see some potential conflicts of interest already.

There's inifite potential. All we can do is speculate, trying don't fall in contradictions and wait before make any aseveration.

About catfights, yes I'd know more than you, maybe..... They takes times too....

Honestly I'm still worried about CDPR handle on the whole Yennefer/ Triss thing. According to the website Geralt can romance ladies or stay true to the love of his life Yennefer. That doesn't really inspire confidence for Triss fans. I honestly doubt that people would want Triss relegated to the position similar to that of Ves and Cynthia of Witcher 2.

How likely does this seem, since Triss has had a very prominent role (far more than Yen) in TW1&2?

Or does it seem more likely the developers are simply doing their best to introduce a relatively new, yet very important character?

I believe this is a great example. Do anyone here remember Roche's path where you sleep with Ves. At the end of Chapter 2 she gets raped by Henselt yet Geralt doesnt even flinch. Its Roche that responds angrilly. Whether you sleep with Ves or not has no baring on the relationships or conversations in the game at all.

Basically that example above is what is worrying.

Yeah on the other hand the devs stated multiple times that this time you actually have to invest something and invest time to make it happen, no matter if Triss or Yennefer (or ?)

Or neither. You can fuck up the romance. If that happens, Geralt will have to content himself with random girls until the end of his days. How very unfortunate, right?
