The Yennefer/Triss choice in TW3

Geralt will have to content himself with random girls until the end of his days. How very unfortunate, right?

should that mean it's one of the 'unhappy' endings in that other thread? or should i say, a "happy ending" *badam tss*

But yeah, I'm interested in how they're going to approach this. I recall reading from one of the devs that it's like you're dealing with a group of very busy, emotionally incompetent adults. You are also one of these emotionally incompetent individuals.

I wouldn't be surprised if you were devoted to one woman and then she cheated on you. Crap dude, what do?!

Everything I've heard about this is only making me more excited. Intrigues, manipulation, backstabbing, emotional incompetence, undying love, unrequited love, and politics. A whole lot of politics. Politics virtually everywhere. Cirilla is going to complicate it all as well.
Perhaps this time, choosing your path will be not so simple.

The ending is unhappy as long as you didn't get to plough Metz. That's the official definition of "unhappy ending". Feel free to quote me on this.

Triss or Yenn, Triss or Yenn...Triss or Yenn?!?!

MAybe it's still in the game.... at least it was two years ago... before to be leaked (hards memories) ;) I think now the story has changed a lot.... or not. Who knows how CDPR solved that 2 years ago... But Keira still in game.

"We start with a cut-scene with the camera descending down on the Baron's castle, showing off the lovely open world surrounding it. The camera tracks in on the window of the cottage where we talk to Keira Metz. Cue dialogue.

"We talk to Keira Metz and she gives us a task: remove the curse from the tower in the swamps. (Boob physics eye candy, appropriately prepared dialogue)."

But, with no offense for all the women who Geralt can meet in TW3, this thread is about the main two of them

First time posting here. I have only played the games so i know little about yennefer besides little bits in the game's. I read up slightly on why book readers favor yennefer but i think what im going to do as a game player since i dont think the games follow books 100% is just play the game and make the choice off that. Who ever i like more in the game witcher 3 and comes off as more trustworthy is who ill go with.

I think anyone going into a game with a set choice is going it wrong.

Im interested to see if this game will take the sex or romance more seriously as a commitment.

I wonder how this will develop, if we will need to talk to them or will be in the main quest that the choice will be made.

I've heard that you'll have to work for it throughout the story. From time to time, you'll have scenes with Triss /Yen where you slowly figure out the relationship. CDPR wanted to move away from the silly old "Bring the magical child to X in order to plough them!" and, honestly, I can't blame them. Hopefully the romances will be a bit more involved this time.

Thanks, kitten. If that's still in the game, then it seems that Keira will have more than just one quest.

So, in these cutscenes, we have to show interest in them ? they said we would have to play twice to see the scenes, hm.

With politics, Ciri, and their personal goals, I think it'll be more complicated than just "showing interest". Then again, there's that unicorn sex scene from one of the trailers. Hard to say how it'll go yet.
And playing twice to see them all definitely makes sense. Although that'd imply you'll have to side with one of them early on...

Will them be politically opposed? Perhaps on Ciri destiny they can show different points and there you can choose or maybe Yennefer suggest they to come back with the old love or something like that.

If I had to guess, yeah. There's no way Triss will just sit idly by when the Nilfs are invading, not after she fought in the war and the Nilfs tortured the shit out of her.
And Yen... well, that's hard to say. From what I can tell, she's working pretty closely with Emhyr (to the point where she can, apparently, just yell at his troops whenever she feels like it), but she might be using him to reach Ciri. I can't see her seriously supporting the Nilfgaard, unless Emhyr wants Ciri to rule the Empire and Yen supports it. Fuck me if that's the case though, I'd like to see that myself.

From the previews I`ve read describing how the game begins, I'm betting that the unicorn sex scene (hum...) is part of a flashback aiming at showing the past relationship between Yennefer and Geralt. Besides, she mentions the stuffed unicorn thingy in the letter that Geralt read to Vesemir in the introductory section.

No, there is indeed a scene like that but in a flashback at kaer morhen and this is not a sex scene, from the look of it the unicorn scene seems to take place in Skellige.

Skellige? What the... I remember Geralt and Yen fucked the unicorn to death, but don't tell me Crach rode it as well. And then repaired it.
Fuck's sake, Yen.
