Whatever this new motif of Emhyr, it is not reliable and I imagine that Yennefer is really just using the resources of the Empire, but even so, I try not trust her so much, suddenly something happens in the middle of the game, I do not know.

My problem with Yen cooperating with Emhyr is not the fact that I doubt yen is going along with it because she thinks it is best for Ciri. My problem is that Yen is too fool of herself, and Emhyr is not someone you want to or can screw over.

Emhyr is on a whole other level compared to Northern monarchs or even the know-it-all sorceresses of the lodge. Just look at how he screwed the Lodge over and brought the North to its knees.

I think the intentions of Yennefer are even good for Ciri,in her way , but she may have been deceived by the Emperor and I hope to have the chance to choose the fate of Ciri.

Yen has her issues, but she'd never intentionally put Ciri in harm's way. Doing it once was enough for her to learn.

Yeah, that might be a bit of an issue. Reminds me of how Roche's boys paid for scheming against Henselt right next to his camp...
Emhyr only uses magic-users when he has to, never completely trusting them. And he knows better than anyone how to put a sorceress in her place.

It only takes Emhyr a single error to lose everything. Such is the nature of high stakes gambling.

True Enough, but what she might find good for Ciri, may not be exactly good. That's why I want to control the situation. Do not think it will be possible taking into account the Ciri, she will likely have own opnion.

BTW did you know that it was Yennefer who convince Geralt return to Cintra and take Ciri with him? Funny how I've read books for 5 times and still was missing this fact :\

I guess my lady that @ajiehb is refering to that bellentyn night, where Yennefer says to Geralt, go to cintra and take
Ciri with you. But yes you are right short before that they meet at Brokilon ;) where "mäussack" (german name)
tries to give Ciri to Geralt and he declines, just leaving in the morning ;)
and Eithne ask her what Ciri want :D guess Geralt can' t escape her after all hehehhehe

Then cintra fell, both "meet" again at Yurgas place. Hm.... this will be quite a journey we have ahead.

Yes, I was referring to the bellentyn night. I think after this conversation he decided to give it a try and find Ciri :)

Ultimately everything they've experienced, all the feelings, emotions etc, none of that has disappeared, and regardless of a wish, it gives them reason to be together.
Really the wish is kind of irrelevant at this stage due to all of that, but I personally go one step further in my interpretation and believe it was deemed "fulfilled" the day they died.

I think so too. The wish itself isn't really important, even what exaclty he wished for. The "why he wished it" is more important in my opinion, but also her whole relationship in the following years is cementing this bond more than the wish could ever have done.

I am re-reading the books right now, because i don't feel like playing/reading anything else right now and i could post a dozen quotes showing that the wish was just the beginning and not the final seal.

I don't think anyone lives in Kaer Mohren anymore, except Vesemir. The witchers can spend the winter there, if they have no place to go. Occasionally a guest could stay there. But not permanently.

I don't think that either Yennefer or Triss would want to live there. Neither would Geralt for that matter.

Yennefer should still have their house in Vengerberg, or not? As far as i know she even had a shop there, where she was selling stuff.

I admit I'm starting to lean more towards Yennefer. Originally I was planning on staying alone with the potential of using one or both of them as occasional fuck buddies.

But well I saw some of Yennefer's voice acting recently I and like it, good voice on her unlike Triss in TW2. Of course the personality is what maters but she strikes me as a very mature person.

Frankly though I'd vastly prefer Ciri as an option. Of course that ain't ever gonna happen.

Didn't that get destroyed when Nilfgaard ransacked the place?

Well, we still haven't heard Triss at all. I don't think we even know if Triss's VA from W2 is coming back or not.
As for Yen's VA... I liked her in the Elder Blood trailer, but not in Conan's video. It's probably too early to judge her either way, though.
Kinda wish CDPR went with Laura Bailey for her. At least it'd put a definitive end to the Triss vs Yen debates.

My Geralt is going full Woody Allen here.

Your scowl means nothing to me.

You gonna stop it? You an' what army?

In all seriousness though (heh, heh), there is nothing wrong with it. Ciri's a woman now, and some people happen to find that attractive. As far as that whole aspect in regards to the Geralt/Ciri relationship, it's personally not my cuppa, but they aren't biologically related (and i'm not getting into the whole adopted child/fate hullabaloo - that's for a different thread), and while some people want it to happen for some reason and others don't-

Just be thankful no one is pushing for Ciri/Emhyr ships
