Another thing that tickles me about the Yenn/Triss decision (probably discussed already) is that is a bit of a meta-decision that sums up one of the big conflicts in the novels: free will against destiny. Yenn (and Ciri, as many many things in the books) are strongly influenced by the Destiny . Geralt is, more or less, skeptical specially in the first novels, I'd say. The funny thing is that the illusion of free will is also a major thing in RPG genre, as many gamers remember us, readers. Open world, RPG and choices vs the destiny, aka main quest. Destiny/Books/Yenn vs Free will/Games/Triss. These things make me smile.
