There is always Hope…

PC gamers might remember the trailer called Hope, which promoted The Witcher 2 (Xbox players if you didnt see it, you should). This short clip featured the music of Frederic Chopin. A talented youtube user Taioo decided to show us his piano skills and play Nocturne in F minor Op. 55.
We asked him to tell us something more about himself: I study music in a conservatory in Buenos Aires, where I specialize in piano. In my conservatory I study and play classical pieces only, but onyoutubeI like to post mostly piano videos about video game soundtracks (sometimes movies). But if I can mix both classical music with video games its much better.
And did you try to play the music from The Witcher games? Feel free to share it with us in the comments below.
PS. Remember the news about the choir in the outro of The Witcher 2: Enhanced Edition? We were asked about the score for this piece. So here you go - LINK.

Nice interpretation

I wish he could send us a video of the same interpretation played on a real piano...

And many thanks to CDPR for the score!

Made all the more impressive by the fact that those don't seem to be weighted keys. The timing is different than a real piano, not at all ideal for classical music. Mad props.

Oh yeah, nice one! That remembers me that sometimes I tried to do single notes Believe from The Witcher 1 Ending with the piano, but I'm still a starting newbie XD

Whooooo! Wait! Wait! Wait!
Score? Just because someone asked for it?
Guys you're awesome! I love you :)
I don't even know what i would give for having the occasion to take a look at the orchestral scores of the themes composed by Skorupa and Wierzynkiewicz for TW2 (and also TW1)..
I'm even disposed to pay and buy them..is it possible?

This Version. At release of trailer I said I can buy it but show me where, everywhere piano only. This version with violins for **** sake. Beautiful. Just couldn't find it. Despair, but I had hope. Now I have "Hope". Downloading it from youtube. Only one close version to this but in terrible quality.

If I ever tried to play any soundtrack from the witcher 2, it'd be A Nearly Peaceful Place. That soundtrack was great.

I'm afraid I'll have to mimic Vandergrift here. I've only been able to locate piano only versions, not the ones with violin (and I think I hear a cello as well)

Oh and my respect to Taioo. Classical music on a keyboard always sounds a bit... tinny and many people often forget the pacing, but you seem to have mastered both, great job.
