There is good looking rain in this game... can modders find it?

While playing HoS yesterday I was surprised to discover that there are two different kinds of rain in the game. The strange thing is that the better looking one is only visible from "inside buildings"...

It' harder to recognize in the youtube video, but pay attention how the rain changes when leaving the crypt.

(using fullscreen helps recognizing it)

(and no, of course I do not talk about the lighting change... it's all about the rain being thick drops and then turning into the white threads)

I doubt I am the first one to notice this... what do you think? Can modders find the appropiate files and replace the "ugly" ones with the "nice" ones?

I can see what are you talking about. But I think it is useless to create second version of rain which we can see only from interiors. It looks like that rain are still there but we can't see it because of dark lighting. And for visual explanation of raining DEV's added additional white rain drops which we can see in dark areas.

This is my opinion, may be I am wrong.

PS. Why I post double posts every time?

for what its worth check nexus - there was a mod that replaced the 'rain lines' with actual drops, and redid snow too
