"There's too much to do in this game. Woe is me."
Has anybody else seen these articles lingering around the internet? I've seen several from doing "News" searches for TW3, and they're genuinely starting to piss me off.
Here's just one example...
I'm bringing it up because what worries me is that some people might be taking them seriously. It's always the same spiel. Some scum-of-the-earth journalist with nothing better to write about whining about not having enough time on his hands to play the game. Talk about First World Problems, right? I can't speak for other people, but I when TW3 released, I was working a near-full-time job, working out 2-hours a day and about to take a few summer classes. I had plenty of time to play the game.
Having difficulty with time management (such a travail in the adult world, isn't it)? Here's a suggestion. Prioritize, make those tough decisions (much like you would in the game, wink wink). Do you really have to go with your buddies to the bar after work every day? Cut back on your other hobbies to make time for TW3. And if you're in some position where you really don't have enough free time to play the game, you shouldn't be complaining. The game didn't put you in your situation or make your schedule. Should've gotten the Order 1886. And here's a reminder: nobody is forcing you to explore all of the content. Doing otherwise will leave your Geralt well above the recommended level for completing the story.
I hope CDPR isn't taking editorials like these to heart, because this isn't real criticism. I think this game has come the closest to perfection in recent memory, but I guess you really can't please everyone. Then again, if it was a game you could beat over the weekend, everyone would by crying about how it doesn't engender the $60 price tag, which Witcher 3 does several times over.
Sorry if this is coming off as a bit douchey or aggressive, but I really don't like it when people complain about a good thing.
:facepalm2:
