Just two thing I find annoying in Witcher are; firstly, overusage of profanities in dialogues( I am not against it but sometimes there`s just too much of it or it could be done better for example by making characters say a quip or or other funny debate done by characters), secondly, a voiceovers(dubbing). Both things could be done a lot better imho.

One ranting more: the flash-like videos in TW2, see http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SLNNcH0QZxU
Ugly, annoying and story-breakers. Ugh!!!!

Yeah, I found the flashbacks in TW1 to be a lot better than the goofy ones from TW2.

The Witcher 2 "World" trailer took TW1 design further by giving them some animations and making them just a bit less static.

I'd like TW3 ones to be like the ones here

I COMPLETELY agree. I am not against swearing at all but I think it should be used more intelligently in TW3.

Two different games with 2 different flashback styles and i`m fine with either one . But the flashbacks were Geralt`s returning memories conveyed to the player . Now we`re going to have W3 with Geralt`s memories fully restored so maybe flashbacks won`t be needed any longer .

Generic placeholder animation looks weird, who would've thought.

Don't worry, Geralt will get a pogo stick in the final version. :p

I am getting really excited for the 3rd game.

It's really hard to criticize CDPR at all. I mean I have at times personally done that here, but only to try in some small way to help them get even better. They are one of a very few companies producing games for people who love them and not just trying to make some fast buck out of you then throw the bird in your face and laugh all the way to the bank. I mean look at EA.

For that reason alone I am happy with whatever they did. Sure compromises had to be made here and there especially to get the game(s) into as many hands as possible (i.e: consoles) but as time goes on I have less of a problem with that.

The combat is a bit clunky in the second game and it seemed to cut off at the end (was a bit too short) that's it for me.

Mature and violence are part of the world described in the books, it's not for pleasure but to show how far it goes, and what existed in medieval ages and still exists

-Bad inventory system and generally console friendly UI in TW2
-Cinematic effects like blur and bloom too prominent in TW2
-Cheesy one liners in TW2 (like Roaches lines while carrying Triss)
-Endlessly repeated lines by random NPCs in TW2 and TW1
-Repeated character models in TW1
-Copy-paste characters and scenarios from books with different names in TW1
-TW2 a shorter game than TW1
-Major characters disappearing with little explanation (Shani)
-QTEs
-Bad inventory system and generally console friendly UI in TW2

Well, it is made so that you can disable it if you don't like it, I don't see your point there...

You could probably adjust the settings from ini files if you don't completely want them off.

I suspect that the point that mpayo was trying to make was the bloom and many of the blur effects weren't especially good in TW2. There's quite a few people (including me) think the same way. Turning it off stops it being annoying but you're left without blur and bloom :(

I hate to save all the materials I could possibly use it later. I may save a bunch of iron in act1 then use then in act3.

Problem is they are too heavy and I am not sure I will use it or not. And the storage box located in inn is inconvenient.

Bloom is broken in TW2. Things that are not supposed to shine/reflect light do. This may sound crazy but I prefer the graphics style of the original game over TW2. TW1 has realistic, crisp graphics whereas TW2 looks kinda cartoonish and washed out in places.
