Loved the first game and I'm glad this is finally getting the attention it deserves. We need more games that just go full on crazy (but I guess people on this forum might not agree, considering how well Saints Row 4 is regarded here).

I don't think we dismiss crazyness in games, I think what we dismiss is not having this crazyness a little grounded in reality. In SR3 and 4 everything is crazy, which makes everything not crazy by lack of contrast.
Octodad seems to blend everyday life with the absurd of being an octopus living the life of a family man.... and nobody suspecting a thing. It sounds cool. I did enjoy insurance fraud in SR3 (the only SR I've played) and the very way octodad moves it seems like the experience will be something along the way.
