Need I say more? Yes, I do.

It's been nearly a year since TW3 has been announced. Perhaps, we can all breathe a little easier now that the year has passed so fast, as they all do, especially the older we get.

Also, we finally do not have to say and think the words "...next year..." when it comes to the release date.

We've had many speculative threads on the predicted release date (heck, I created at least two of those). The last time I tried creating a topic in September was with a monetary incentive (i.e. participants pledging $5 and then each chipping in same amount via paypal for the winner to take it all) - that was just for fun, but that wasn't allowed.

So I will try one last time to see if people are interested in predicting their one and only release date - so that the winner (if there is one) could be crowned with this untold and unofficial achievement on these forums until the end of time.

So here it goes.

My prediction for the release date is July 8, 2014.

I am thinking we can either all simply state our predicted and/or secretly desired release dates or mention how we were able to cope with the knowledge of this game coming out over the last year - as in, scanning the news/forums daily, having dreams about it (I had two so far), trying to introduce people to the Witcher series (as I have been and still am doing quite successfully) or, in my case, by dissuading people that I know of from stealing the game when it comes out (still working on it).

After the funbox port was finally complete, they have about two years in on this project. Two years. That's if it releases in 2014.

Not to sound negative but I wouldn't be surprised if the game gets delayed to 2015. The game is ridiculously ambitious and the final entry in Geralt's trilogy /> Also CDP is developing for three platforms at once this time.

The Witcher 1 was released on Friday the 26 in Europe. The US had to wait till the next Tuesday.

So my estimate is going to be the last week of Oktober. EU and US might have different dates still usual to see Friday releases around here. AC4 is the latest example I remember that had a Friday release.

I think it's as early a date as a release would be possible. With the limited number and scope of hard demonstrations made to date, it's easy to suppose that they're at least nine months from GA. Cormacolindor's "10 more months" is what I would agree with.

Yup, I would say October at the earliest and even that is a big if. I hate to be a drowner but CD Projekt is trying to make the ultimate Witcher experience and that takes a lot of time.

I don't know about that actually. Konrad said in his interview with Angry Joe that he felt they had loads of time to finish the game.
