Don't forget, Doug Cockle said that he started doing voiceover for the wticher 6 months before the release of the second game.revieced said:Thats from IMDB, Charles dance's profile. The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt (Video Game) (filming)
Emperor Emhyr var Emreis of Nilfgaard (voice).
So if it says (filming) i guess they re not done with the voice acting yet?
I like the way you are thinking.dragonbird said:3 September at 6.09 pm. Polish time. Obviously![]()
maybe there were inspirated for some awesome new side questsKisaLuuk said:But recently they also stated that they've read new Sapkowski's book and there are some great things that they prolly put into their game, so maybe not so finished with the plot?
About that - I started reading the book 2 days ago and I already noticed something that might cause some trouble in one of the character's models.KisaLuuk said:But recently they also stated that they've read new Sapkowski's book and there are some great things that they prolly put into their game, so maybe not so finished with the plot?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tt8DoNerIPY Dude from cdpr said last july that they were halfway into development. Whatever that means... /> />FoggyFishburne said:You know, I could've sworn that I read an article saying that RED was done with the plot aspect of the game. Now it's only stuff like optimization and tweaking that's left. But since I'm unable to find the damn article again, I've concluded that I'm just a lying piece of shit!
But man, I'd bet my life that I read it somewhere.
Bah, no matter. My guess is still that it's going to be released this year. If not, that's cool. There's gonna be a lot of other shit to play. Maybe even too much shit!
No problem.gregski said:About that - I started reading the book 2 days ago and I already noticed something that might cause some trouble in one of the character's models.

As far as I know Triss' hair color in the books is different from the one in the game as well and that doesn't seem to be a problem. Even if it wasn't different then oh well... remember that witcher games are just a "fan fiction"gregski said:About that - I started reading the book 2 days ago and I already noticed something that might cause some trouble in one of the character's models.

Likewise.Csszr said:I'm still betting on late Q3 or Q4.
Wrong. Amazon is reliable when it puts up a release date and starts taking pre-orders. Granted, in the cases I've followed the developer has already officially announced the release date, but still. Amazon does not just randomly start soliciting pre-orders for games without communication from the developer/publisher. The fact that they quickly changed the release date to an obvious placeholder (Dec 31st 2014) while still accepting pre-orders lends credibility to the first date, or at least the time frame.GuyN said:The Amazon date has no foundation; there is no evidence that it is credible or that Amazon had it from any source that could be considered credible. It isn't any kind of believable date at all.
That is only because they have, for whatever reason, decided not to sustain the hype they generated at E3 2013. We are six months out from E3 and the relatively polished state of their game in pre-Alpha at that point seemed better than many late-Beta or even Released games nowadays. The reluctance to release a polished gameplay demo publically is not for lack of ability, it is part of their lackluster PR strategy.GuyN said:With the limited number and scope of hard demonstrations made to date, it's easy to suppose that they're at least nine months from GA.
Whatever, for my own judgement of Amazon's reliability I use my experience over the testimonials of others.GuyN said:No; there have been plenty of testimonies to Amazon being entirely unreliable when it comes to release dates.
And are we supposed to give greater credibility to their unfounded Sept 30 date or their unfounded Dec 31 date?
I saw no evidence that the game was in anything like a polished state.
All that points to a minimum, not a 50% or even a 10% confidence of nine months from GA, which is later than Sept 30 and probably at least a month later. And I'm one of the world's worst over-optimistic estimators.
