Although i did enjoy the game as ive put close too 150hrs in it some things made me wonder.
Randomly put some of my thoughts together (poorly written but...)
After watching the 2018 gameplay reveal and hearing the radio broadcast about Johnny Silverhand being alive and then playing the game you can tell the story was changed.
Making me think was the story initially going to be V does merc stuff work on becoming top dog taking on the corpos and gangs. Through this you learn that johnny actually died and its a corpo/media cover up about him being alive.
you learn about Soul killer and the immortality tech stuff then you get hired by a rival of arosaka to steal the chip.
so to speak then towards the final act would be the heist mission and the game would end once V wakes up in the landfill by Johnny "Wake up samurai" then end credits
come X months later the dlc is released where the events of the current games story takes place
when thats done the next dlc would be V looking for a way to survive the damage caused by the chip with a cloned body or whatever.
