Thread reply layout reset?

Its a nice feature that a once started replyy stays forever in the editor of a thread untill its postet but i wished there would be away to reset this field. Sometimes one simply changes mind and dont want to post something and still it forever stays in there untill one accidently hit the send button.

There is a way. Erase the field and then and click this:
