Threads being closed, my two cents

Hi all..

Ironically i presume that this thread will also be closed very quickly...The sad part for me is the fact that moderators are closing threads about a topic that people are most concerned about, the Downgrade..

Me personally have spent 300 euros in total (bought the steam version, GoG version and the CE) for this game because i have a huge amount of respect for CDPROJECT and i believe that they are the shining light of the industry. Having said that there is a problematic overreaction on the side of moderators on this site. Having seen the pattern of closing entire threads over some individual remarks or comments is wrong in it self. Censorship on a large scale is unnecessary and should not be done on any forum, it creates a negative connotation between the loyal fan base and the game studio. Moderators exercise your power at a lower pace, be more tactful, users restrain your self from personal insults towards employees and/or said moderators.

Now onto the downgrade...

I personally having seen by my own eyes the 2013 pc in game (not in engine, not a vertical slice, not CGI trailers) but in game footage compared to the 2015 footage the downgrade is plain as day.. As a loyal fan that fact angers me a bit, even though the game still look great on the PC. But what pisses me off is the blatant fact that a pc first developer has taken the route of gimping the pc version to satisfy the lowest common denominator. that is in this case the xbox one.

The amount of work that has gone into making a weak console to reach 1080p in some scenarios and totally gimping the pc version so that it will be the same as the console version, is a total disrespect to your loyal first PC community dear Project Red, because the fact remains PC community was there for u first and should be treated with respect not downgrades.

They're not closing threads because people are speaking about the downgrade, they're closing it because more often than not people get into pointless arguments.

@denan111 it is obvious that they declared their stance on this matter, it is: wait, see than judge. Cd projekt red seems confident in their game and we should all give them benefit of the doubt. If it is up to me i will release ultra footage with all bells and whistles and end this discussion once and for all, but it is not and we need to get over it . How many times did we thrust Ubisoft and how many time did they failed us, Cd never done this so shut it.

And we have spent 300000000000000 hours watching people bicker, break rules, insult, denigrate in the name of 'discussion' for over 600 pages and 3-4 topic combined. So let's not have a pissing contest over numbers. We have had enough posts and threads and repetition of said posts in those threads and have deemed that there isn't anything more to add at this point nor that we can tolerate any more rule breaking in the name of 'voicing opinion'.
