Looks to be some kind of scorch effect for a particular row. Either way, really awesome art for both Ciri cards so far

On a separate note; I would prefer it if the lane a hero was placed in actually meant something. With hero's not effected by anything, indicating what lane they go in doesnt change anything. Would prefer if there was at least some kind of interaction and difference for heroes and their lanes.

You are wrong, it actually changes something. For example number of points in specific row. It is important because of scorch conditions (it works if there are 15 or more points on the row). Heros add points, so they can also be the reason of loosing non-heroes cards because of scorch.
