Tips on fighting a group of elves

I'm trying to fight a group of elves in a forest and I'm getting my arse served to me in a silver platter. I managed to fight groups successfully before but elves and their double swords can parry forever and are really smart and quick surrounding me.

I'm playing on normal and will not drop the difficulty. Would anyone please give some tips on how to deal with a group of elves?

Thanks!

Elves are flammable.

What Guy said. I also try to take out archers first, as they just add to your problems. With the archers out of the way, you can hold back slightly to try to draw the swordsmen to you one at a time.

If all else fails, the Scoiatel in the forest always tend to be in the same places, and only at night. Avoid those places until you've gone up another couple of levels, then go back and wipe them out. You can level up fairly quickly by fighting nekkers.

Which reminds me, the Scoiatel locations also tend to be nekker or endregas locations. You can sometimes get them to fight each other and just move in for the final kill.

Thanks for the tips guys. Any more tips on how to separate them? I used paralizing traps in an attempt to separate them but they often stick close by the paralized one.
