Toggles for DLC new costumes.

Toggles for DLC new costumes.

I have no idea if in fact anyone has posted about this. I have a suggestion could we perhaps get a toggle to change the costume dlc. As beautiful as Triss's new dress is, it feels out of place. Her original outfit suits the overall situation of the story. I know I could uninstall the costume, but a toggle could simplify this. Overall, with as many small glitches as I have found in the game. (Like dying from falling 3 feet, and Roach continuously stopping for no reason.) This is the probably the most immersive game that I really got into. I didn't play 1 or 2. Keep up the fantastic work.

I think this may be part of the 1.07 patch
The list of all available DLC packages is now displayed in the Main Menu/Options/Downloadable Content submenu for better clarity.

I assume this will allow you to enable and disable as you desire.

That would be fantastic if it was part of the new patch. I have this game 100% completed on the ps4. The hardest trophy was the 50 headshots. That must have taken me 5 hours to obtain; moreover, the hit detection was quite horrendous. Hopefully, that will be addressed in the new patch as well.

There is a toggle but it's only on the main menu, so you can't change it by pausing. Go to main menu, options and DLC and the toggles are there! :)

There's an option under Downloadables where you can turn off the DLC alternative costumes. and yeah I didn't care much for them either.

Geralt's DLC armors are fantastic however. There's hints that CDPR is making the Mastercrafted Kaer Morhen armor in the upcoming DLC. :)

There is a toggle on or off button on the title screen once you choose option however CDPR mentioned that on 1.07 it will also be available when you pause the game while playing it and go to Options and you will also see the toggle costume on or off there.

Wouldn't the wolf school armor be considered Kaer Morhen armor?

Nope. The Kaer Morhen armor is the starting armor. You know... the one with a lot of chainmail.

yeah, which is kinda strange its so weak.. in reality, that would be definitely a medium armor.. mail was quite resistant to swords, especially high quality mail. (forget about youtube videos, those are done against cheap replica mail.. real mail costs a lot, only few people make it these days, and they ask 30-40k $ for a shirt... hardly some youtuber would spent such amount of money just to test what real mail would resist... its way simpler to order Chinese replica for 300$.. but such results are just wrong... its like testing airsoft ballistic vest replica against AK-47 and then claiming real armor stands no chance...)

i wonder why there weren't that many chainmails in the game though. there were a lot of leather jackets, gambesons, studded leather all the way to the cumbersome-looking plate mails.

only chainmail i can think of are the Kaer Morhen and Griffin armors.
