Tower out of nowheres bug/glitch

Getting a bug here. Step through the portal and into the cellar of the tower no problem. I've watched other's do it on youtube after much deliberation on whether or not I was missing something. No voice echoes that there is an imminent intruder, and the golem doesnt attack me. Kind of upset with this. I'm a 30 and I'd like to get the XP for the quest. Hoping for a quick fix soon. Cheers

I had the same problem and have seen similar complaints on a lot of forums. Try closing the tower's front door and then opening it again using the A button (Xbox One); don't just run through. It worked for me, hopefully it will for you too. Cheers.
