Trebuchet didn't do any Damage

When i was playing against monsters, i used trebuchet to damage first row of the enemy(monsters). There were 6 minions, none of them has taken any dmg. The row(enemy first row, the one on which i used trebuchet) was under the influence of Torrential rain.

Did you see which unit the trebuchet hit? Did the unit have armor or a Quen shield..? All the units could also have been gold(which is unlikely) but if they somehow were, then the trebuchet wouldn't fire.

None of them was gold or had quen sign. It did hit foglets and rabid wolves.
