Just saying...Okay, since this new thread is all about Triss - I have two questions for you guys.
So I am currently re-reading Blood of Elves and there is a quote about how Triss met Geralt also how actually she fell in love with him.
It was never quite clear to me (a bit vague, to be honest). So did she fall in love with him because she had never experienced this kind of feelings with other men/women? Actually, it seems like Geralt had such an effect on her that she could never forget it. Just curious to what others might think.
My other question is which Triss do you prefer (I am talking about her redesigned face) TW2 or TW3? To be honest, at first I didn't like her new face because in TW2 she looked more mature and I would also say her face looked a bit more characteristic. But after playing TW3 I prefer her new look she looks younger and has a beautiful, lovely face. IMO it suits her better (even personality-wise).

No, Triss had not desired to take him away from Yennefer. As a matter of fact, her friend was more important to her than he was. But her brief relationship with the witcher had not disappointed. She had found what she was looking for - emotions in the form of guilt, anxiety and pain. His pain. She had experienced his emotions, it had excited her and, when they parted, she had been unable to forget it. And she had only recently understood what pain is. The moment when she had overwhelmingly wanted to be with him again. For a short while - just for a moment - to be with him.

I honestly don't see why we wouldn't be allowed to talk about anything Triss related be it something about inconsistencies in the romance or her character in general as long as we don't offend anyone and remain civil. The fixes CDPR is working on are coming, that is very important to many people here and I believe talking about it should be allowed.

You'll be bombarded with the book scholars on this but I can only give it from a creative perspective...it's good conflict. You desire what you can't have, lust after the things that are just outside of reach. That pretty much is Geralt as long as Yen is anywhere in this realm of existence. If I understood the wiki's, Triss TRIED a few more times to 'seduce' Geralt but he resisted and it really affected her. It probably made that wanton desire even more...what did the gangsta master say about ladies in general, bitches be crazy!
If I could have my way, I would take TW2 Triss body and use TW3 head...and use the TW3 rendering engine. Best of all worlds!
I cannot be specific in this thread, but it is because CDPR is behind this forums..and therefore behind all that things, that mods did to us..
I liked them like saints, yesterday, but today - it was rude awakening... But enough of that - i won't comment this issue any more..
Lol. I was thinking that, too. Triss in TW2 had a more ... full-figured body that I find more seductive. But I like Triss' face in TW3. It shows off a lot more detail, like her freckles. Her eyes are super expressive as well. Rendering technology has really improved. Looking forward to seeing what future CDPR games come up with.
On that note, I wonder if anyone will ever come up with a mod to import TW3 character models into TW2. Is that even possible, or would the game explode? I know people have done similar things with Bethesda games, e.g. Skywind.
They said we can't discuss the old thread which was about the inconsistencies.
They never gave us an aswer though as to why we can't discuss the old thread which is the parent of this thread and even posted in the OP

I haven't read the books - Im saving all of my summer job money to buy a new powerful laptop so I can run Witcher 3 on Ultra settings (At the moment I only get 30 to 35 fps on low settings with my current laptop) ----------- But aftwerwards I will most likely buy the books that are in english.
I have to say I prefer her Witcher 3 look, I think her hair should be a bit darker but apart form that I prefer it.
I've asked several times about he models in TW3 but got no ground on them...
I've thought a complete reduex of the TW2 over into TW3 engine and everything would be awesome! TW2 story in the TW3 rendering/game engine...wow!
I believe they were talking about discussing the old thread post mortum, I.E. not talking about why it was closed. I'm sure we can still talk about inconsistencies.
At least in this topic we can discuss a wider variety of things.
It is because in TW2, her body was "custom created" just for her, while in TW3, she shares one of the casual bodies..
But I am absolutely agree - TW 3 head, facial expressions and TW2 body (with TW3 texture) would be awesome..
And to importing TW3 character models into TW2.. I think, thak TW2 have different engine, so it is impossible. But, much later, when some sort of "RedKit" will be awaiable, there is possibility for comunity to recreate TW1 or TW2 into engine of TW3 (just like community did with Baldur's Gate in engine of NWN2)...
