How is that betrayal? She was a member. Was. Past tense.

Agreed we need a scene where the Rose return to vitality by chosing Triss. I want my choice in TW2 to matter.

Geralt's conversations with Triss are optional, you can either choose to tell her "I trust you" or "I don't trust you" in both cases you won't learn anything new, she still didn't know about the assassinations.

This.
Also the Lodge isn't inherently evil. They sometimes have good intentions. But, probably due to their leadership (read Phillipa or Sile) they go about it in a questionable manner.

Did you watch the scene... because I think he says that he was trusting her without choice.

Geralt is still her friend. If you're not sleeping with a person you have no motivation to save him?
Yes,the Lodge wanted to save Ciri to use her in their schemes and Triss was totally fine with it.
I agree mages are jerks i still love them though.

Please...rejected woman sometimes is dangerous woman. She wanted to be more, than Geralt's friend...and when she heard: "No!"...i dont blame her acts.
If Ciri was still princess of Cintra - she'll have same fate. She'll marry with someone by the order of someone.
Yep...lovely jerks)

She never officially quit the Lodge,so she's still a member.
I don't see how it's a betrayal though. The Lodge was a secret organisation.Triss swore not to tell anyone about the Lodge, even to Geralt.

I'll take the Lodge over the Conclave any day, at least they had some decent people in it who cared about her, maybe only two of them, but still.

Was she? She no longer went to meetings. She may have been a member "in writing" but not in practice. Up until that point, Geralt wouldn't need a reason to know about the Lodge.

Guess what? The Lodge is back in TW3 and they help both Geralt and Ciri and Ciri will still talk to them, they're actually one of the biggest reason she could turn into an Empress.
Triss had a vision and her vision was correct... Some other people however, went to the conclave and... sigh... It's just a mess.

Yep it like you said, but Geralt at this point think Triss may involve in king's assassination

After the conversation, pretty much every distrust between them are clear

Because she's decent and she was trying to stop them and finally, she had evidence this time.

Before you said you'd that Lodge ove Conclave any day. Why would she want to stop them then?

Exactly, thank you, unlike some other sorceress who in Times of Contempt rather ruthlessly uses Ciri and to a certain extent exposes her by taking her before the Council and getting her to prophecy something I doubt that Geralt would have wanted when he entrusted Ciri to her.

What Triss did was out of good intentions and it was never to harm Ciri or Geralt, also, when she knew about what was going to happen to Geralt she was the first to run there to save him and she betrayed the Lodge by doing so

So her attempt to convict a few guilty mages and stop the hunting of all mages, not matter whether they're guilty or Innocent, was wrong?

Neither does Triss, not after she had enough evidence to reveal what they did in TW2, she's on her own now in TW3 and she will be the head of both the council and conclave, best decision Tancred ever made.
