If anyone could find this in a larger resolution it would be appreciated. I would like to add it to my Witcher desktops collection, it needs more Triss.

Guys i have to ask you something.I am in the process of reading the books and i just finished Blood of Elves and i am wondering if Geralt met Triss before Yen,because Vesemir mentions that he knew Triss as a kid and i presumed that Geralt does too.I remembered though that in The Last Wish Yen says that Geralt would have liked her friend Triss Merigold and he makes no comment on that.Is that just a plot hole or am i missing something here?
Nope, don't want to start an argument. It's my opinion based on repeated posts depicting her as a betrayer.

Thank you abex81 - well Triss betreyed once - I interpret it that it wasn't intentional - she was under huge influence of the Lodge. She is a different stronger person at the end of the books saga and in the game.
Sapkowski's characters aren't really only "white" or only "black" if you know what I mean. That's why the characters are so believable and great. Mistakes are part of our lifes too...

They're bashing of Triss, they're bashing Yen... it's so sad in the whole subject. If I were a CDPR dev I was quite worry bout this kind of minds....
It's Geralt's story, he NEVER hated or banished any of two woman... and here are some people who enjoy trying to make one womanbetterworse than the other because.... what? Unreal characters that you can manage at you will in your imagination? Really you could treat real people in such way?
I'm a fan of CDPR and any character of the games are have been molded with their respect and love and here we are, some hating one of both... Dammit nor Roche neither Iorveth deserved such sadly attention

I am aware of that betrayal,no problem with that. I was talking about some people here that repeatedly used that argument against her.
I fully agree with you, all the characters in The Witcher are ''grey'', Triss included, and she redeemed at the end.
I support the idea on which the Lodge was established and I understand why Triss didn't leave the Lodge.
Then some **tches (witches) like Sile and Phillipa ruined everything...
I can only speak about the game and say that no I don't support the Lodge or their intent for Ciri. However, Ciri is a grown woman and can decide what she wants to do with her own life. If she allows herself to be manipulated then that is her own fault. Of course I imagine papa bear Geralt to step in when she really needs him, but I do agree with the theme of letting go and not being just as suffocating as the Lodge and Emhyr in an effort to protect her.
As for the Lodge itself. Sorceresses need it, plain and simple. They need power and organization but they need to learn to police themselves as well. A few sorceresses making mistakes isn't worth dissolving an entire organization for.

@Raoxeezer is that pic of Triss, should I say HAS that pic been 'altered' in an editor? It looks...different, like a soft filter maybe. Or maybe my glasses need cleaning...yes they do but that pic still looks amazing!

It's not nearly as cut and dry as you make it out to be. The Lodge is neither all "bad" or all "good" This is what makes them interesting.
