:O I didn't know you could get the Triss Merigold gwent card!!

That's something I need to do in my next playthrough.

Gwent in this game was really great, at first I didn't get it but then I started to win a lot more, it's a great minigame of its own.

Our romance options will be present in Blood and Wine expansion (Toussaint) CDPR already stated that.
Can you give me the link. All i know is the expansion will feature "characters both new and dearly missed"
Nice, I missed that info. Good to know ! =)
Ah, the one who started it all ^_^

Lambert have her gwent card, i wonder if he do anything nasty to this :wallbash:

Yeah, it'd be good if they could resolve both problems (at the same time, so no angry uproar :D)

With the Yenn timing issue, I think they could either remove that lock like you said or make it extremely obvious in the Triss dialogue (I'm not sure exactly how, but it could be possible).

But like you said, the player would still meet and finish with Triss (and have to make a decision) before even getting to know Yenn, so you're right in that they need to just overhaul it completely.

For players like myself who have no prior knowledge of Yennefer, or players new to the series who don't know either, it's important to have good characterisation of both of them in order to decide which romance, if any, we want to pursue so we have to meet one before the other. Two ways of addressing this would be better characterisation of Yen in Vizima and removal of the lock in favour of a more Bioware style confrontation that forces you to make a decision one way or the other.

Yen: "Geralt, we need to talk"
Triss: "You've told each of us you love us but there is no three of us in this relationship"
Yen: "You have to chose. We've discussed it and you have to decide one way or the other"

1. "I love you Triss but I can't live without Yen"
2. "I love you Yen but I can't give up Triss"
3. "I love you both and don't want to hurt either of you so will stay on the Witcher's path"

Solves the issues if this comes much later in the game.

Well I've tried to be balanced in my approach and have repeatedly pointed out that the only area this game falls down in is romance. Yen's romance has issues of timing as opposed to writing, content and flow like Triss. You're introduced to the possibility of romancing her after Triss which locks you in if you to the romance with her if you select the "I love you" dialogue. That lock needs to go every bit as much as Triss needs new content to balance her characterisation across all three acts. To be perfectly frank CDPR need to throw the current romance mechanic out the window and rebuild it from the ground up because it's shockingly amateurish in its implementation and not what I'd have expected from such a talented team of devs.

As for the Kovir expansion, Yen fans should realise that it represents a romance-related expansion, not specifically a Triss-related expansion. The reason it's referred to as 'Kovir' is because that's the only place named dropped in the storyline. Yen is still evidently friends with Triss (since the storyline ignores any confrontation between the two) and is no longer interested in politics so why not live in Kovir with Geralt and her friend and (potentially for a short time) daughter? Put simply, if we were to have a romance-related expansion, why not Kovir?
The romances only need a few tweaks. The biggest problem for me is the politics, they made Rad the Lad a cartoon and whitewashed Nilfgaard.

Hearts of Stone will give us Shani (Which means we don't have to worry about her in Blood and Wine). The information about Blood and Wine was posted somewhere on the forums by one of the developers (I honestly can't recall where) but I'm looking for it as we speak, also (Blood and Wine) will be as big as TW2: Assassin of Kings, with all the choices, quests and time required to finish the game-play. CDPR also stated that we will have a lot more of "everything" in the expansion.

Yep i think Lambert has it (or maybe it was Eskel), i got it at Kaer Morhen when you drink along with them....unfortunately for me i missed out on collecting all gwent cards because i missed the ones at Triss' matter of life and death quest....

Geralt: Hey Triss i know we are suppose to find Albert and all, but i am going to start playing some gwent while you stand there and watch
Triss: Fine, i'll just drink some wine and get drunk

Anyway like you said gwent was great once you get into it, it got too easy though later on but still a great distraction.

"You've told each of us you love us but there is no three of us in this relationship"

Why not both? :(

The best part is Lambert has it lol.

Agree with you except with your dialog, you lose the threesome cut scene who is fun to watch :) (never try myself but see videos)

That wouldn't even be funny anymore. /quit

I found it hilarious.....Roche could show up in Kovir and help Geralt track down the king slayer just like old times and they can run into Iorveth again and it would be like a sequel to Witcher 2 hehe... and then the kingslayer tries to kidnap Triss but she says "not this time" and kills the kingslayer with Geralt saying "that's my girl" :)

Well, when you put it that way... I guess it would be fun. As long as they have some Elven Paths in there. *wink wink*

That made up a strange picture of a potato-Triss in my head ...
