Or not.Triss wants to help people?That's good,but i doubt other mages will agree.And making her a head of the Council AND Conclave is stupid.It's much power for one person.
Actually that is the best desision Tancred ever made, said so Geralt himself.
It's not too much power for a fair and kind person who will use it to do good.

She's not a mage or a sorcresess, she can't lead them. Triss saved most of them from being burned. While other people did nothing.
She organized their escape, while other people did nothing.

Well,most of the previous members of the Council and Conclave are either dead or wanted for murder,so I have no problem with her being a member of one these institutions.But a head of both of them?That's too much.

I think you misunderstood me.I didn't like the previous Triss thread because we were not allowed to discuss Triss' character there,only her content.So of course I was happy when it got closed.But then two new threads were created

The only thing I don't understand is how King Tancred has the power to make her the head of the Council and the Conclave of mages. I mean isn't it governed by mages? meaning a King has nothing to say about such things? Or am I wrong about this?
They do actually due to the Witch Hunt. Also, Who ever have the biggest number of mages and as much money as the king of Kovir can do whatever he wants. He have enough money to see it done.
Tancred is giving the mages a safe Haven. Radovid is killing them by the dozens and Emhyr keeps them on a short lease. The best future for mages is to go to Kovir so I would say the ball is in his court.
Triss would also appear to be the best option for leading them. Who else is there? Margaritta has her school, Yen wouldn't want to, Keira is wandering and curing the plague, Phillipa would be the worst person ever to lead them, Francesca won't leave her realm, and Fringilla might not be satisfied with the libraries in Kovir.
I'm not saying that she's not worthy.I'm saying that she's not capable enough to handle being the head of both organisations.The previous members of the Conclave and Council were the oldest and most powerful mages.
She'll manage, she's talented after all. Did you see what she did at the battle of Kaer Morhen? She made the "oldest and most powerful" mages look bad on more than one occasion.
