Nope. I don't think the patch 1.07 will include the Triss fix and to me, it's a relief.
Don't get me wrong, I want this fix badly, but more we wait, more the devs have time to actually make a lot of things right and more the fix will be good.

Maybe the devs have been working on the Triss content for weeks now and decided to tell us they are fixing it recently, that way it can be included in the 1.07 patch. Wishful thinking I know.

Hey everyone I posted an updated and edited version of our original suggestions of changes to the dev. We all know they said no new content and we have discussed the meaning of new content enough. I want to know what everyone thinks and I will update and tag, Marcin, GingerEffect, and REDDorigen in it in hopes that when they pop in again they'll read it. Everything in the suggestion should require very little new scenes if any and minor tweaks to existing scenes and dialogue to make it posible.

It's on page 129.

I did this because, someone mention it in a PM and this thread is starting to grow. Many people have submitted minor revisions to our original request in here so, I felt it was only right to edit our original suggestions to reflect. I went through and try to get everything into perspective as best as I could.

Dont worry, the edit addresses all of our original concerns from the last forum however, I added a little detail to show the dev that it doesn't require a complete overhaul to achieve. Please go to page 129 to read and let me know what you think. If we are in agreement I will ask for the OP to be updated to reflex it and I will tag the dev in so the can take a gander.

If you want to make something a little different from what we had in the first thread maybe you can put it this way:

1rst part: all the issue in the game we want to see fixed (Wells' curse, KM, Yenn Kiss ect)
2nd part: Which new dialog content we want to see (Rose of remembrance, dialog Triss vs Yenn etc....)

My point is most of the new content/dialog we want can fit in several places in the game and maybe they just want to know where are the issues but want to fix it their way.
I think it could put things a little more clearly.

Edit: This way we can prioritize both issues and new content independently

True but, I didn't want to specifically mention new content because, the dev already addressed it. My plan was to hash out our original suggestions in a little more detail.

If they decide to work on content we have over 90 pages of fan created content they can digest. It's all available for DL in the OP.

They said tweaks so I wanted to show them that a lot can be done by tweaking existing scenes and dialogues. They'll have decide to add new stuff as they see fit.

Areas we like to see improve base on the previous thread. I added a little detail based on recent inputs in this thread.

Suggested fixes requires very minimum and in most cases no new scenes, just minor tweaks to existing visuals and dialogue.

1. ROSE OF REMEMBRANCE: -Give it back to Triss at some point preferably before final battle. Good luck before the final battle does not adequately portray a lovers concern for the severity and dangers of the coming battle.

2. KAER MORHEN: Have some interaction with the characters at kaer morhen and have Triss talk to Geralt about kiss-or Geralt reassure Triss after the Yen kiss (scene tweak - instead of saying damm good to see you he should walk up to her kiss/hug her).

Vesemir funeral scene can be tweaked to have Geralt's love interest comfort him a little like he comforted Ciri. Nothing major and does not require major scene changes just minor tweaks and dialogue. (Very significant because of Geralt and Vesemir relation like father and son)

During the Witcher drinking session with Lambert and Eskel if Geralt romance Triss, dialogue option should allow him to discuss it with his fellow Witchers. (No changes to scene just dialogue tweak/addition and Triss presense).

It would be nice for Vesemir to acknowledge their relationship before he falls in battle if Geralt romance Triss.

And for GOD sake have Triss be at Kaer Morhen when Geralt invite her and not show up way later after he brings Ciri and then credit Yen for it.

Lastly, may be too much but, have Geralt and Triss have a meaniful scene at kaer morhen. Does not have to be another romantic scene, can be discussion about future plans at the table with the other witchers (Minor scene tweak)

3. BOAT/ISLE OF MIST: Have some dialog about Kovir and their future plans on the boat, it is the perfect place for Triss and Geralt to hash out those details she promised they'll discuss later (Dialogue mostly)

During the Isle of Mist when Geralt and Ciri are having their little conversation about her journey through world's, have Ciri ask him about what's been happening with him. Perfect time to talk about Geralt and Triss relationship and his decision to be with her if Geralt romance Triss. (No scene change just more dialogue).

4. WORLD ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF PLAYER CHOICE: NPC acknowledges player choices and romantic interest or have the dialogue option to correct/inform them.

5. CIRI: Ciri and Triss need some dialogue at Kaer Morhen or on boat they don't speak to each other except for the hug at Kaer Morhen.

None of the above suggested fixes requires any major content change just tweaks as the dev promised. They are definitely doable.

What do you all think? My reason for the additional detail is clarification. We have to be reasonable and make sure our suggestions are. The dev can choose to approach this a different way, after all these are simple suggestions base on inputs from last and current thread. The above additions can really flesh out the relationship choice with Triss.

Thanks for putting this together @DaWitcher. Overall, I think you did a good job of articulating our concerns and suggesting possible areas where the Triss and Geralt's relationship can be improved upon.

Her comment was meant to describe that with what's happening to her (Partially in non-direct way of what Geralt allowed to happen) That she won't be getting married anytime soon. It was a joke, more (Dark humor) I guess than a joke.
