The kiss itself doesn't bother me and I don't think Triss would feel insecure BUT I think Geralt would... If I was him, I would be worried that Triss was insecure about the whole thing and I would at least want to talk to her about it. If that makes sense!

Such scene is missing - dialogue before battle in Kaer Morhen.

Is that cut material or have you just spawned her?

Exactly!!! 3 lines of dialogue would have helped so much!!! Poor Triss didn't have a chance after Novigrad! I'm going to stay positive though :) Hopefully they will patch it up :)

PS - Beautiful picture by the way, as always x

I think we deserve more than three lines of dialogue. There was no good reason to solely push Yennefer to the forefront from Skellige onwards.

No, there is really no good reason to put Yen in the forefront if you romance Triss but just a few lines explaining the kiss would have been nice.

That's not what I meant. I mean I understand why she's important to the story but because of the bad job CDPR did with introducing the characters I've been doing a lot of reading and from everything I've seen, Triss has just as important and extensive history with both Geralt and Ciri (and Yennefer) as Yennefer does so there was no reason to push Triss to the side in favour of Yen in the main plot. There was room enough for both of them in the source material, to play equally big parts in the plot. For whatever reason, CDPR made a concious decision to sideline Triss which has backfired on them due to all this discontent about it.

You and me both =)

Love the game, dying to do a second playthrough, but I won't do it if the Triss romance is still such a mess people say it is. I like the "Yen Romance" but I want to see the Triss-one as well ^____^

I understand what you're saying. If I had designed it I would have made the romance choice similar to choosing Iorveth or Roche in W2... If you romance Triss there is no reason why Yen should be the one to do everything. If you understand what I am trying to say... It would make you want to play both romances to see what happens on either path. Then Yen gets the end for herself and Triss for herself. I'm not saying they shouldn't interact, I just think they should have equal pros and cons depending on who you romance. (Maybe the mages only survive if you choose Triss's path and maybe you can help people on Skellige or something if you play Yen.)

No, I mean regardless of romance. Romance choice shouldn't have come in to the equation. Both women are big players in the lives of Geralt and Yen but the way they've written the plot you'd think only Yen was. Even if you romance Yennefer, Triss should still have a much bigger role in the game than she currently does. Take the romance out of it, ignore her two personal quests and the Well scene, and she's more important than Phillipa, Fringilla or whatever the other one's name is but from what I've read she most certainly is.

I disagree... I think they are both huge people in the game but I think romance should definitely play a part in the dynamic in the quests. I don't think that Triss should be prominent if you chose Yen and vice versa... It makes no sense for them to be acting all friendly towards each other when they both obviously love Geralt. I can understand Yen wanting to be with Ciri as that's her daughter but I don't think Yen would want to be around Geralt if he was with Triss.

Same here. I just put the game to rest for the moment.

I just can't play anymore until something is fixed, it feels sad to go through the game again as it is.

It's not a patch yet. And I hope in new patch will not be changes for Triss, because for good content need time and a lot work.

No i don't agree with the idea of a split path. Yen has her right to her role in TW3 due to her mother status with Ciri. That doesn't mean i'm not unhappy that the level of discrepancy in content terms between the 2 of them from Kaer Morhen onwards.

I agree. Although, I wonder if we talk about weeks or months.
