Yes, the amulet can be used in combat after that when playing as Ciri, a fireball hits the place where she was originally standing after a few seconds of delay.

Yes, in this post, I have collected all bits of leaked dialogue, and shown where they are likely to be according to the four places mentioned in the changelog.
We don't know because it didn't tell us the lines.
It could be a possibility with the conversations area.

Also you know what's interesting.....From the get go the rose of remembrance is marked as a quest item, with absolutely no quest associated with it....
It does tell that there are not more scenes edited than what can be seen in the leak, though. And they probably would not translate a draft version of the dialogue to all languages, so I expect minor differences at best.
It is not really a quest, you can ask Triss about it, and after a short dialogue it is no longer a quest item.

Do you guys know if I need to start a new game in order to have the new dialogue options with Triss once the patch comes out?
I am on my second run of the game but I'm not planning to meet Triss before the patch comes out. I want to meet her afterwards.

It'll probably depend on where you are in the game. If you've passed where the new dialogue is then clearly, yes. If you haven't then I should imagine no you won't.

I imagine that's due to where it lies in the tables. There probably isn't a miscellaneous items entry.
According to one of the developers, starting a new game is not needed. So, it should be enough to load a saved game from before the first scene that has been changed. That is, based on the leak and the patch notes, from The Isle of Mists or earlier.
Cool. Just a small amount of backtracking needed in terms of previous saves in my current playthrough needed then. Got to clear my evening schedules for next week.
