I agree. I don’t think there will be a real happy ending where e.g. Geralt and her love interest ride off into the sunset and live together happily ever after (even though I would like to see an ending like this, I don’t want to be too naive :p/>).
If I remember correctly, the Devs said there will be 3 endings, but I guess these will be all neutral, as you said: not a real happy end, but also not a real sad ending and thus it will definitely give us mixed feelings.
But I must say, I would rather see a neurtal ending than a heroic death crap.

If they are really cruel they´ll make you choose between LI and Ciri (sorry Yenn ). But about riding into the sunset... the saga ends with Geralt and Yenn in kind of Avalon, and both look to be alive (hell of an otherlife if you must recover from wounds after death), and Ciri choosing to live her life and indeed riding into the sunset. So I hope they don´t end undoing all of that.

None. I always had disliked sorceresses. Now I hope for choice to leave them behind. Geralt have life to enjoy, no reason to waste time for their BS. Meet them and then leave. ASAP.

Yes, the player should have a choice (155 votes [85.64%] - View)

A last choice in a one ending? or more than a choice in the differents 3 endings?

I hope CDPR would lean more towards the second option with extremely different concequences for every choice, That each concequences makes me feel deep inside (no matter if of joyce or sorrow). I hope, I pray for that every final concequences shall be about to rip a tear from my eyes clouded by the final farewell of Geralt, living or dead, alone or with his true love, winner or defeated.

Yes, I'm a dammed romantic, any problem? />/>

cut geralt some slack he already died once and comes back and is immediately dragged into problems. let the men have a happy ending (well a possible happy ending) you would have to work hard to get it.

Hey, I´m all for it.

By your name I guess you also have experience with working hard for a happy ending and getting sucker punched instead.

What if at the end of TW3 Alvin will appear and offer us three endings ?
Destruction of the Wild Hunt, Assimilation or Control ?

I think I'd need to have a talk with CDPRs story writer then. :p

Either way, imagine the cat fight when Yennefer finds out that Triss has been bonking her man. Of course after words she will either roast Geralt in his own skin, or spend the next month bedding him til he can't walk straight... or maybe a little of both.

Sapkowski wrote it into the non-canon "Something ends, something begins". Yennefer finds out before their wedding, confronts Geralt with it, and lets him off easy by telling him "Never lie to me." Maybe it helps that, by that time, Triss is happily shagging Eskel, and Yennefer doesn't see her as a rival.

Not fair. Geralt did not roast Yen in her own skin, when she went and bonked that damn sorcerer... He proved to be a man, deserving respect, full of dignity and manhood; he respected both her choice and personal desires, despite all the pain he felt; and he felt pain, the man is due respect! Now, with Triss, they are even. Yen must show greater, or at least, equal, dignity and self-esteem, to that of Geralt's. Plus while in amnesia, she was trying to seduce Auckes! Yarr!!

Well, I doubt that if one of CDPR's guys were in this wedding Yen would yet trust in Triss

I could be wrong, but didn't she know Istredd even before Geralt? Istredd also tells Geralt that she always came back to him, because her "new love" didn't work out the way she wanted, but as we know with Geralt it was another thing, because in the end she chose love over wealth.

That seducing thing was (probably) to escape them and didn't work so well as far as we know. If you have the tools, you gotta use them ;)

I'm wonder how they gonna set it up, if Yen get to learn what happened between those two. She wasn't really fond of their brief relationship and she threatened her to land a finger on him again, so..

And don't forget Geralt lied to Yen about his relationship with Fringilla ;)

Oh, how much I disliked (hated) Fringilla Vigo in the book… I would like to see her in TW3, though. It would be a very interesting situation.

Really? I actually liked and pitied her at the same time. At first she was just doing her job, but she couldn't hold back her emotions at the end, a little sad.

Uff, i hope she still lives, maybe she even helps Geralt concerning Yennefer, who knows. The empire killed her friend Assire, time for payback.

I am not sure if I understand you - she should tell him, he sided with non-humans? If so, why you think, that is true? He had friends - non-humans, but side of non-humans in game, which you can side with are Scoia'tael and that is different.

No i meant, i think Triss didnt tell geralt about all the other dwarves like Zoltan that he had for friends, and what happened at Rivia in the end of the books, and how he felt more like a non human than a human.

I dont specifically remember what she tells him first, but i do remember that when you talk to her about siding with scoiatel shee then says "You were in the side of non humans in the past too before" or something like that.

Personally I disliked and pitied her at the same time.
But to be honest, at first she was quite likeable (when she and Assire joined The Lodge) and I had no problem with her (she even helped Yen). But later, when she was doing her so-called “job” and then told The Lodge her story, I started to dislike her. I would say because of this “job" I lost my respect for the character. Maybe it's a small exaggeration to say that I hate her, but she's definitely not one of my favorite characters from the book.

Edit: By the way, I have a feeling that she will be a possible love interest or (at least) can become a sexual partner for Geralt in TW3. After all, they said: "there will be long branching love stories, and the one-night sex options as well."

Geralt´s and Yenn relationship is quite different before and after Times of Contempt. They manage to patch things up, and next night **** hits the fan.

I think Yenn also new about Geralt and Triss by then, but lets it slide. Then Triss turned her back on her when she went after Vilgefortz, and that she doesn´t forgive. Gamewise, add Triss has taken advantage of his amnesia to get him into her bed again. If Yenn has her memory, fiereballs are gonna fly.

Yenn guesses Geralt has been with someone during her captivity, but decides to let it pass. To be fair, Geralt thought at that moment she had betrayed him so I doubt he considered himself in a relationship with Yenn. Although after finding the truth his main regret is he won´t get laid for some time.

In the end of the books Triss wanted to leave with Yennefer, and they parted as friends.

I have a theory: I think Yen already knew about Geralt and Triss in Blood of Elves and actually Ciri was the one who told her.

A short quote from BOE:

There was a subject which the girl instinctively and carefully avoided. But one day, she got carried away and spoke out. About Triss Merigold. Yennefer, as if casually, as if indifferently, asking as if banal, sparing questions, dragged the rest from her. Her eyes were hard and impenetrable.
Ciri could guess the reason. And, amazingly, she no longer felt annoyed.
Magic was calming.

I guess that means Yen casted some spell on her to make her speak about Triss… XD After all, Ciri knew (and even annoyed her) that Triss had a thing for Geralt… Imo, She told Yen about that and then she put the pieces together. After all, Yen is a clever, wily woman…. ;)

(Or maybe I am reading too much into it and the only thing she told her that Triss lived in Kaer Morhen for months.)

If by friends you mean being impatient for the moment Geralt will give her hell, I guess so.
