So after running into a phone glitch that litterally broke my 26hrs playthrough (lvl 22), I gave the game another chance and started on the latest save that didnt have the glitch (lvl 13).
Problem is, im now extremely paranoid and lost complete trust in the game. I constantly check my phone to make sure it didnt glitch out, I save like every 5 mins, and im just not enjoying myself. Granted im now updated to 1.05 and on Ps5 but i still cant shake it. Anybody else feel that way?

Seriously don't save every 5 mins. That is what I did because I was fearful of losing progress

Hitting "Option" -> "Triangle" then "Circle" to exit menu to use Quick save option was VERY tiring, but it was convenient.

Worst case you lose 1-2 mins progress average. Rarely I lost more than 5 mins. The autosave is actually decent. It really spoils immersion if you're constantly doing quick save, so trust me and just play the game and just replay after crash. You'll feel better playing it that way.

But I know that exact feeling, stop doing and worrying about quick saving as it spoils your momentum and immersion.

I have youtube, bbc news, web browser on 2nd monitor rather than being frustrated and I'm sure at least you appreciate that PS5's SSD gets back to the game in less than 60 secs.

I've been habitually hitting the F5 key on my keyboard so often, I now do it when I'm not even playing the game.

Was playing a competetive CS:GO match the other day with a friend and first realized it then.

Even in my dreams, I don't necessarily see it like a vision but more like a feeling. Like I can feel my arm reaching upwards, so far from where it is nicely resting to blindly poke around for the F5 key, often causing me to have to look down at my keyboard.

I've been thinking about creating a macro that just presses the F5 key every 2-3 minutes. Except I'd have to install that software on my computer - like my man Pooh says "Oh bother..."

Take a break and stop fighting the game. After a day or more, then decide if it's worth it to you.

I just lost three days of progress to what I think is a save file size issue on the ps4. Lots of crafting and now my saves won't load.

A long shot is possibility to recover save files from PS cloud itself. But copy the local save files onto USB elsewhere first in case future patch resolves it, so don't consider those save files "corrupt" but "unreadable" at this point.

Since topic is about "trust". I can't imagine those people that bought merchandise for this game to show appreciation for the game, but left with a broken crash simulator.

- Collectors edition
- Xbox One X Cyberpunk edition console
- Cyberpunk gaming chair
- Cyberpunk One Plus 8T Smartphone
etc

Visually it will just act as a reminder of their 1st time disappointing experience.

I feel really bad for the limited edition base consoles, the system looks sick, but doesn't play the game good

I also play on the ps5 and the worst situation I ran into was when doing side gigs and ncpd open area quests i suddenly couldn't complete gigs any longer (this was in Heywood). I would run through them as normal, but once complete the fixer would never call me. Doesn't matter what the gig was, the fixer never called, the gig never closed. I ended up having to go back about two hours on a past save to correct the issue.

No idea what caused it, but after that I left all the ncpd open world quests alone... only did the gigs etc... and I took it slow. I let every conversation finish... if someone called me I stopped what I was doing and let it play out. If Johnny had something to say I again stopped what I was doing and gave him my full attention until he was done.

Managed to complete the game in this manner, including all gigs and sidequests save for a couple... I completed all ncpd quests without issue after I completed the game. hope this helps,

PS5 : 1.06
