I'll be watching. Specifically, I'll be watching for some sort of affirmation that the Cybercapacity shards are finally fixed. If it isn't mentioned on Dec 1, it's a serious ball drop. (Edit: Ball was dropped. Neat feature list, but not even a general reassurance that some, or any bugs would be addressed. It will be a shame if any preexisting quest breaking or fundamental system (like cybercapacity) bugs took a back seat to what otherwise would be genuinely interesting and welcome content. But if I am walking around listening to my radioport while stuck somewhere around 330 cyberware capacity, I'm gonna be quite miffed.) If it isn't fixed in 2.1, I'll be moving on with a nasty taste left in my mouth. (And yes, I'll be certain to watch my backside on the way out.)
I preordered this game at release. I walked away like most everybody else, nuff said, but I let CDPR keep the money. I came back last Oct, tried out 2.0 (technically 2.01 then) systems, felt encouraged, purchased PL, and 2.02 literally dropped the next day. This HAS NOT been a great ride for me. Hearing CDPRs communication manager was out for vacation for a month (she has NO backup?), that resource reallocation to Witcher 4 development was in full swing, and given that Dec 5 was original promoted as only a re-release of the game bundled with the expansion - all while hearing absolutely nothing post 2.02 release about the state that patch left the game in - its not a great look for CDPR from my perspective.
I'll leave it at this: In my eyes, Dec 1 should be about regaining community trust that was torched over the past 2 months, and solidifying a guarantee that this game will not be abandoned to "eventual fixes" as their company moves on to the next big ticket. They, above all other companies given their goals and their release history with especially this game, should be committed to as much transparency as possible regarding efforts to get this game to a true, unabandoned finished state without caveats.
