Let's just get back to the two basic points:

1 - You said the most powerful weapons are too easy to use. I disagreed, pointing out that the most powerful weapons usually have inherrant differences in their use which require more player skill to make them effective. Many of them are also specialised in what they do.

Do you still say that weapons like sniper rifles, shotguns and launchers, (because I really can't think of any recent game that provides a "laser-o-Death" in any legitimate form apart from maybe Deus Ex:HR,) are still too easy to use?
I talked about it more and more times referring to the specific flaws in mechanics, weapons and whatnot
2 - Turn based combat games are more like chess than real time combat games are. Do you agree or disagree with that statement? (And yes, I have already pointed out that just about any competative activity can be compared to chess, as well as many other games of that ilk.)

I also talked about this...
Oh, and lastly are you saying that 2077 should feature turn based combat?

I always pictured this game to be an open world first person shooter RPG like Deus Ex tbh. I think that is how I would prefer it as well.

How about a compromise? What about an implant that 'highlights' targets and even individual body parts so that they are easier to individually target? Think of an overlay applied to a target under your crosshairs:

This overlay can then show individual areas of the target: upper torso, lower torso, limbs and obviously the head.

What we are left with is a real time version of VATS, (with no percentages but perhaps the name of the body location,) which I would suggest should last as long as the target remains within your field of view, (so as long as you face them, cover being unimportant.)

By highlighting the targets body part, you make them eaier to target. Combine this with a slow-mo mechanic and you get something pretty close to VATS but without removing player skill. The best part is that all of these elements can be added or taken away with a Modular HUD system.

Now, there is also the subject of Smartguns. The description of this technology in the Cyberpunk Rulebook would pretty much match the "Tracking Point" scope.

If you combine this element with individually targetted body parts, you really do have Real Time VATS.

^ This. Combined with stats/skills determining how well/how long something is highlighted, how long slow mo lasts, etc.

I would give my right nut for this system, of course, you'd have to fish it out of the jar on my wife's nightstand.

combat should be real time and I recon brutally realistic combat that requires allot of tactical thinking would suit it. the third person shooter mechanics should feel like the last of us. taking only from that game the value that we should feel towards ammunition and the impotence of out maneuvering enemy players as they try to get in a better position to have an advantage over you and vcee versa. I think it should also give you the same feeling as dark souls gives when despite your clear advantages over even the most basic enemy types they are still very dangerous but easy to defeat if you use your head. the ai should be smart and adaptive and the player should be punished if fighting brashly and in a manner that the character he has built is not equip to handle.

this is just how i think raw combat should essential feel regardless of the other other elements. I imagine mechanics like the VATS like system being integrating with this and or being class specific.

I really want also a third person wiew..... This is a must since is better if you will be able to see displayed your agumentation and gear... A first person only wiew ill ruin this a lot......

We have enought fps around i don't want this game turn in another fps with roleplay elements i have deus ex for that..

I think it should be made a controller option, if possible. Best of both worlds.
