Turn off sickening effect when using witcher senses

Hi all,

I've already posted this little tweak in the compendium but decided to make whole new thread for it too since it helped me a great deal.
I always got motion sick using the witcher senses because of the ridiculous FOV but most of all because that horrible blurry effect on the edges of the screen. If you are just as sensitive as me, this tweak is for you.

Just go to bin\config\base\gameplay.ini. Open the ini and look for this line:

MotionSicknessFocusMode=false

now set it to

MotionSicknessFocusMode=true

There you go, that blurry effect on the edges of your screen is gone, no more motion sickness and now you can even use witcher senses as a tool for better exploring your surroundings since it still does zoom in.

If you liked this little tweak and it helped you, please do me favour and go to this site www.nexusmods.com/witcher3/mods/151/ download the Readme and endorse (if you are a member. If not, why not? Go there, create an account and enjoy heaps of great mods ;) )

Kevgeon from nexusmods found a way to even put a toggle option for this tweak into the game's menu by altering an .xml. Didn't work for me though but you might want to check it out

Wouldn't the main Witcher 3 sub-forum be a better place to post this?

Well, since it is a technical issue and only for the PC master race I've put it here.
If the mods decide otherwise they are free to move it ;)

i think your brain just lacks training. this isn't an issue with the game, but an issue with your brain ;o

with minimal training, you can ignore any visual effect. to the point where you see nothing. amazing, right?

Oh my, Polly Prissypants has got a problem with me having a problem with a horrible effect that makes me sick and that I found way of turning it off?
"to the point where you see nothing. amazing, right?"
Well, you can train your brain to become blind all you want, I'll just turn off that horrible effect ;)
