I was a little alarmed at how unfinished some aspects of the game appear. Particularly animations, lip syncing, and combat. suddenly 2011 doesn't seem so far away. But I'm not a game developer either.
Amen to that! But maybe the hardest thing (and the longest one) was to develop the engine and having done that things should go a lot faster? Well June is OK to me, will have time to finish the W1 a few times to make saves for importing into W2 in all 3 storylines :)

I don't know about the others, but I sure want The W2 Papercraft of kings :)
I second that. What about a PDF version of the Geralt one? Please =) I don't mind if the requerimetns get higher for the 'downloadable version' including scissors ;D I want to cut and craft a big headed Geralt. And I also second that I prefer to wait for a well polished version than a rushed one. The main quest diagram was impressive but I also thought 'ouch, lots of possible bugs' XD What I don't think for what I saw is that the animations are unfinished, THAT is one of the things I liked the most from the presentation, how smooth and perfectly captured (realistic)those were. You should have to watch some Two Worlds 2 footage for unpolished animations ;D Combat on the other hand is a bit 'messy'.What I said, my 'waiting limit' is on september 2011, let's allow this great game to be the best possible and to rule another gamescom ^_~

Okay... here we have new stuff ;-)In a German preview from PC Games Hardware, it's mentioned the game's state is between alpha and beta. *ahem* english google translation, It's the part at "The Witcher 2: Benefits of the PC version? "And here is a video interview from Rebelgamer.de with level designer Marek Ziemak (center) and lead implementation designer Konrad Tomaszkiewicz (left). They are talking about relationship to women and… sex, conflict between the races, graphics and combat system, fast and strong style, dodge. Seems there is no group style. But they are talking about styles.I got this interview today. It's in English but the sound is a bit poor.Btw.Marek Ziemak led through the presentations, he was assisted by Konrad Tomaszkiewicz and Jan Bartkowicz who is not in the video. The other colleagues answered specialised questions for their specialised section.

dang, that guy on the left you can barely hear at all!Reminds me of speaking to my brother "QUIT MUMBLEING AND SPEAK UP!!!!" heheheThanks for links Petra

Thank you for the links. The translation was a little difficult to understand but the game is looking great.

Thanks for for links. I'm pretty sure I heard the words 'group style' in there somewhere. Many of the people making this game are so damn young. It amazes me.

Elder (older? senior?) poeple have the experience, young poeple have the creativity ;-D Jan Bartkowic who is responsible for story design is quite young too. I haven't ask him about his age but he looks quite young. I was told he is bursting with good ideas.

Well they did a great job in presenting the new trailers so i wish i could buy them a drink or two or three. It’s refreshing to see young and talented people with new ideas.

You all will get what you deserve :evilangel: and I think that's alot... all those who couldn't come to the GamesCom and all the starving Witcher fans who couldn't satisfy their hunger / addiction there ;-)
