it takes awhile to make a new mod!
I didn't know of any mods that remove or reduce the Blizzard blur, so I went and made you one. And now that I've made it, I know why no one else did this before. It took many hours to make, because none of the resources that are available to me would do what you wanted.
I tried altering the script that the potion calls when you drink it, but that didn't work.
I tried altering the three different special effects that the potion uses, but that didn't work.
I tried ... well, I won't bore you with everything I tried.
The Blizzard potion's effect is set with the
reflex_apply.ncs script, and we only have the COMPILED version of that script, which greatly limits how much I can mess with it.
So,
this mod is still in testing. Without access to the uncompiled script, there's a limit to what I can do and even a limit to how much of what the Blizzard potion normally does that I can even get a look at. So, let me know how this works for you. I know it makes time slow down without the blur, but does Geralt still have all the advantages he's supposed to have? I did test this, of course, but I've never used the Blizzard potion much, so I don't have a good sense of how its normal effects feel during gameplay.
If you'd like to report on how this mod is working for you, you can leave a reply in

Like all of my mods, this is for The Witcher 1, NOT The Witcher 2.
You can download it at my website, at http://corylea.com/no_blur_blizzard_mod.html. I decided not to upload this to The Witcher Nexus until I know if it's working for people.
