Hi,Glad you like the modAnswering you questions:- I usually attack every enemy I see but never bother with additional grinding.- Check wikia for locations of meteorites and runes: http://witcher.wikia.com/wiki/Meteorites. In FCR 1.2 I've changed merchant wares so some meteorites and runes are available earlier.- Bombs are very useful but definitely not necessary.- I tried to make all talents useful in FCR but still I never bother to use charged version of Signs.- You can plan your build precisely with talents spreadsheet. You can find it in The Witcher folder in excel charts.- I'll fx it in next version of the mod. Untill then you can edit the CameraSettings.2da file with notepad and change MinDist and MinDesiredDist values to 1.6.

thx for the quick reply.I won't lie, I can't understand one bit in the excel sheet. I just see colors and get dizzy. so I'll just "try" and see what happens. maybe I will have to stop if my build is wrong.

oops, another thing: I don't understand the supposed oil bug which is referenced in the descriptions for .... necrophage oil i think.- I apply the oil- I savenow the bug is suppsosed to happen when ? if I reload the save where the oil is applied ? what happens ?I just reloaded saves with oils and the time left always was right and when I applied something else on the sword it canceled out the oil....so what is the bug about ?

This is a bug from vanilla game I fixed some time ago in FCR. The warning is left just in case. You can ignore it.

Greatly enjoying this :)Quick question: I'm in Act IV and have accumulated a number of runes and meteorites. At the Blacksmith looking at my options for new swords, the descriptions of the abilities don't match with the Witcher wiki. For eg, none of the critical effects (except sensitivity to Silver) referenced here (http://witcher.wikia.com/wiki/Rune_swords) can be seen in-game.Is this something FCR changed, or just that the descriptions in-game don't list all the abilities the sword provides?

Full Combat Rebalance means just that, everything got rebalanced, including skills, monsters, weapons. so the info on the wiki has not much value for FCR.You can lookup recipes and some such, but thats about it. The rest you have to look up in the said excel sheets.

Is it correct that a drowner only gives 10 xp if Geralt's level is 19? Cause I'm on the end of act 2, far away from level 21 and the exp reward for all monsters seems low.

Drowners are level 11 monsters, with 50 xp base reward, minus 5 per each level difference between Geralt and monster. 50 - ((19-11) x 5) = 50 - 40 = 10 xp

btw, haren brog does not sell the blue ore. not before and not after his mission.....don't know what's wrong there.i got another question: can you somehow do it that geralt does not auto-sheath his sword in combat areas ? it got me killed a few times when a barghest came running but geralt decided it's safe now :)I'm playing on hard now and I still enjoy it and didn't have much trouble as long as I keep myself buffed with potions.

I reached lvl 20 and increased dex to 5 but aggression isn't unlocked so I can't learn this talent. Or needs it str lvl 5 too?

Yes, I've changed merchants' meteorite stock. Blue meteorite is too powerful to be available this early. Modders can't fix auto-sheathing.

Yes, it needs Str lvl 5. Requirements are in skill description.

Agression is an upgrade of level 5 Strength tree. It's obvious it requires it to unlock.Analogically with Critical Hit.

I can confirm that issue. Fought against the Professor with steel sword 20 dmg (16 +4 for diamond dust) and he was nearly immune. But if I used the silver sword with spector oil he was very vulnerable to this. Cause of that I think there's no chance to win the fight with steel sword. And I tried it several times.

I can't remember how far I got in vanilla (it's been a few years). I remember at least getting to a city. I didn't remember any uses for the weapons, but thought the mod may have introduced some.I try and hit and run/dodge, but I often get hit when I do that. Will try a again.

I've checked Professor files dozen of times and I encourage you to do the same. I can't find any reason for this to happen. There is no bug in mod files. The only thing that comes to mind is that this fight is scripted. I don't have access to this script so even if there is an issue in this fight (which I've never encountered) I can't do anything about it. Besides, there are players like you, who confirm that there is an issue and there are players, who confirm that they can beat Professor with steel sword without a problem and they even record movies with Fraps.

Just wanted to comment on something I discovered - the cckatrice (won't let me spell it ::)) seems to be more vulnerable to the silver quick sytle than that of the strong style (and my strong style is currently at a higher level). I checked the Monster codex and it suggests using strong style. Just thought I'd let you know. Also - I'm one of the people who confirmed that you can kill the professor with the steel sword. Perhaps they scripted it as they thought gamers wouldn't have time to switch from the silver to the steel right after the cutscene with the Ifrit ended? One last question - I have two sun runes and two earth runes. I'm holding on getting a new silver sword until I have a triplet of SOME kind. Is there anywhere I can find one in Act 3?

:eek:Indeed, there is a mistake in ccckatrice description.All ornitoreptyles have natural monster scales, which are considered as scale armor, thus fast style is more effective. I'll fix description. Thanks for report.You can find 1 sun rune and buy 1 sun rune in Act 3.

thanks for your clarification.I'm in act2 and holding up good sofar in the swamp. killed the big archespore with blindweed, swallow low tox, blizzard damage+ and food/water. then proceeded to destroy anything in my path and get the Yrden sign early. the beast in Act1 was down in 2 stokes. maybe I should go to insane but I still fear the whole "random" instadeath situation will be much more frequent. this "feels" pretty good in terms of difficulty sofar. good times, thank you sir.
