TW1 Model Changing Help

Want to change the mesh/model of the First Armor you get ( leather jacket ) to that of the Studded Leather Jacket. It's for my own personal use for a personal mod I'm attempting to make.

(sry, misread your post. Tried to erase my post but that's not possible.
Thought you want to modify a model. But you simply want to exchange models, right?)

So then (if I remember correctly after 4 years) this should be managed changing uti files.
The Studded Leather Jacket is in it_witcharm_002.uti for example.
This is a quote from Flash, 3 and a half year ago:
"To change forged swords models you need to edit original sword .uti files in D'jinni. Extract sword uti files from *.bifs using unbif, bifrip or wiemdzmin tools. You can easily google them."

It's about swords but should also apply to armours. And you need D'jinni, the adventurer's editor (was it's name, wasn't it?).

Or maybe you could achieve your wish by modifying J_Slash's stuff mod:
http://en.thewitcher...ts-life-easier/

If you know nss scripts there is CreateItemOnObject("it_medit", oPC); for example.
Maybe just use it to add the Studded Leather Jacket? Don't know its item name - maybe it_witcharm_002?

Long, long ago that I used this so I fear can't give you better advice.

Thank you, but I am aware of this, the part I need help with is changin the names won't make the gadgets appear: E.G. Spiked gloves, since the studded leather jacket model has been renamed to leather jacket. this means gadgets wont show up, since they have a separate fetch script, specific to the item named witch arm 3,
and gadgets are what I want to show in normal leather jacket.
