TW1 (Steam) to TW2 (GOG)

TW1 (Steam) to TW2 (GOG)

I bought TW1 on steam for mac, and I am thinking about downloading TW2 off GOG because the internet i am using is using proxies that don't allow external programs, so will my saved games from TW1 steam version successfully transfer to TW2 gog version?

Yes, all that matters is that the savegames are in the proper place (which is the case by default, no matter which distribution type TW1 is)

You can also copy and paste your save game (Ice Plains) into the witcher 2 save game folder and when you start the game it will automatically pick it up .

Good Thankyou, i was a little worried, I wanted to use GOG because it did look promising and its hard to use steam with the proxies, i can use things like proxy cap but it slows everything down. So thank you!
