Did you put the TWEditor in the Data folder ?

OK if you don`t mind check all folders to make sure that you have only one copy of the TWEditor located in the witcher folders .
I remember having this error once and it seemed to be that i had 2 copies of the TWEditor pasted in my witcher folder one was in the main folder and the other was in the data folder .

When you right click and select properties on the TWEditor on your desktop look in the Start in line and copy and paste or type what the line shows .

It appears there is a double space between the Data" -jar TWEditor.jar in the last section in the target line try setting it to a single space .

It was a double space but changing it didn't help.

Just now noticed the \Data should not be in the target line

Changed it to C:\Windows\System32\javaw.exe -DTW.install.path="C:\Program Files (x86)\GOG.com\The Witcher Enhanced Edition Directors Cut" -jar TWEditor.jar
and still unable to detect language

GOT IT
Target looks like that now
C:\Windows\System32\javaw.exe -DTW.install.path="C:\Program Files (x86)\GOG.com\The Witcher Enhanced Edition Directors Cut" -DTW.language=3 -jar TWEditor.jar

My saves are here "C:\Users\Jethro\Documents\The Witcher\saves" I don't know is it the same as "Data" or?

(When I start the TWEditor I get an error saying "Unable to locate The Witcher installation directory")

It doesn`t matter where your saves are at the moment , once you have the editor working correctly it will pick them up . Where is your game installation and is it Steam or Disc install ?
