It doesn`t matter where your saves are at the moment , once you have the editor working correctly it will pick them up . Where is your game installation and is it Steam or Disc install ?
I installed the game by disc, not with steam.
I'm not sure where the game installment is, I don't have access to my PC right now

From a post i made some time ago . If you made a shortcut from the TWEditor you placed in the The Witcher folder . Right click the shortcut you made and select properties and then select the shortcut tab

Since my witcher copy is in C:\GAMES\The Witcher Enhanced Edition the target line is the shortcut should look like this . Feel free to copy and paste in your shortcut tab
javaw -DTW.install.path="C:\Games\The Witcher Enhanced Edition" -jar TWEditor.jar

If your game is installed to program files it should look like this
javaw -DTW.install.path="C:\Program Files\The Witcher Enhanced Edition" -jar TWEditor.jar

64 bit (substitute your install directory between the quotation marks)
javaw -DTW.install.path="C:\Program Files (X86)\The Witcher Enhanced Edition" -jar TWEditor.jar

If none of these work then try this one (substitute your install directory between the quotation marks)
C:\Windows\System32\javaw.exe -DTW.install.path="C:\Games\The Witcher Enhanced Edition" -jar TWEditor.jar

This is version 2.2

Its work with jPortable and jPortable Launcher.

To run the utility, You don't have create a program shortcut and specify!!!!
javaw -Xmx256m -jar TWEditor.jar

Just run jPortable Launcher and select TWEditor.jar

Version 2.2:
------------
Prompt for the game installation folder if it is not found in the Windows registry or is not valid.
Prompt for the language identifier if it is not found in the windows registry.

hi everyone here!!
i have some issues with the editor (i try it to end the game faster for story purposal only... i´ve already have two endings without cheats... and i found this one):

The issue is; if i take a data and moddy with, the healt do not groes up again N E V E R in the game
someone has had the same problem as me?

i mean, if i cheat a data for the beggining, and the witcher has 174 hp... theres will be a 174 hp for all the game even upgrading all the fisics atribute (dagon is impossible with this... the whole act IV is a nightmare version of it)

There is a mod that increases health and endurance by a substantial amount . No need to drive yourself crazy trying to figure it out .

Director`s cut wouldn`t make a difference , FCR might .
Do you have an override folder already ? If not go to your witcher/Data folder and right click an empty area and select new then move you mouse to folder and select it . Then simply type Override and ok . Attached is a pic of what it should look like .

Then simply unzip the Infinite health and endurance mod and open the OVERRIDE folder fond there and copy the witcher_atr_abl.luc and paste it in the override folder you just made .

If you're using FCR, there will be a folder in your Data directory called z_FCR. Look in there for the file.

Are you using the latest version of Java ? Did you right click the TWEditor and "send to desktop" ? Copy/paste will not work in this manner for the TWEditor . Can you open your TWEditor shortcut to the shortcut tab and take a screenshot of it and post it here .

No, no. You're not looking for an Override folder in z_FCR; you're looking for the witcher_atr_abl.luc file that you wanted to replace with the witcher_atr_abl.luc file from the mod.

Do NOT create an Override folder inside the z_FCR folder. Just add the witcher_atr_abl.luc file from the mod to the z_FCR folder and let the file from the mod overwrite the witcher_atr_abl.luc file that's already in the z_FCR folder.
