i do, but i do not believe that it would specify so in the name or path etc, i couldn't find out without literally opening steam and searching for witcher games and which i did/not have. regardless, that one resulted in the same message
it does show -an- installation directory, whether or not it is or even can be incorrect however, i am not sure. but the only difference between the two is that the target has \TWEditor.jar just before the end ", whereas the i-d does not.

i thought it was 258? oh well. originally into downloads, and extracted to the witcher folder.
The full extracted files should total 262 kb . But anyway let`s start by going to your downloads folder and extracting to a subfolder . Then go to your game installation and wherever you have extracted the TWeditor files then delete them and also delete the shortcut to the TWEditor on your desktop .
Now go back to the extracted subfolder and right click and copy only the TWEditor (256 kb)
and paste it in the witcher/Data folder . Once you have done that then right click the TWEditor and select "open with" and using the browse button navigate to C:\Windows\System 32\javaw . Now right click the TWEditor and select "send to desktop" . Ten try the editor once more .

i believe i've downloaded the wrong one, as the actual file is only 250, and all files extracted are only 258. would that be a problem, or should i continue?
my extractor appears to not like the file, as that is where i downloaded it from previously and the size remains the same.

and my bad, it appears that the one previous to your last post was actually a different size, i didn't notice that the extracting program had somehow made a second file within the file when downloading the correct one. my apologies
however it's 264 and you said it should only be 262?

ok i followed the previous steps, however when i ran the (desktop) program it asks for the directory?
"E:\Steam\SteamApps\common\The Witcher Enhanced Edition\TWEditor.jar"
