Ok, re-installed the whole game and now downloaded successfully your mod creating the new icon to my desktop.

But now when I try to launch the rotww, my computer is spitting this message to my face:

witcher.exe system error
program can't start because mss32.dll is missing from your computer Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem.

i admit. i´m in bit of a loss here:question:???:eek:uch:

Search for the solution on the internet, there is a lot of guides. This is not a problem with installer at all.

It worked, but just for Chireadan...

Rest of them are unchanged...

Are you using FCR? Did you check the right options in the setup?
Can you make a screenshot of the Data/z_zrotww folder content?

Mmkay. As the quick google search seemed to instruct, i copied and pasted binkw32.dll, mss32.dll and other crap from basal game to rotww system directory.

That stopped all system error notices when launching the game. Problem is, now the rotww does not react in any way to double clicking or other attempts to start the game.
I´m getting closer now though.:ninja:

Try to launch the game by clicking on the witcher.exe directly from System folder in your Witcher directory.

Hmm, that files, mss32.dll and binkw32.dll should be in the System directory after installation of vanilla game, i don't know why you don't have them. That would be time-consuming, but try to uninstall RotWW and The Witcher, then install The Witcher, run it, close, and next install RotWW. I have gog version too and everything works perfectly.

And here is Data\z_zrotww\Characters\Elfy

@Ljesnjanin first elf appears during Haren's quest, when you reach it, or anyone reach, let us know how he looks like.

any chances you can make an alternative version for Triss with her jacket from your previous version?

No, this is final version of Triss. But I can send you old files, there you go:
http://sendfile.pl/pokaz/245530---OZFk.html
Unpack nad paste into Witcher/Data/z_zrotww/Characters/Triss and override.

Found the problem and it was almost easier to fix than I care to admit:blushing:. My computer simply put rotww files into separate folder during installation by default without me noticing and I just had to make sure base game and the mod made into same place. Works like a charm now

Thank you anyway very much for your willingness to help even after your long sweaty work with your project. it will be a crime if CD Project will not put an article about your work to the news section now.

I've been enjoyed this new version so far, so much new NPC variation, no more attack of the clones!
NPC from previous version received updated texture should have new journal's screen for consistency though (e.g: Triss, Witchers, Odo,...)

We have a minor bug, that change X belts on Geralt's outfit from brown to black. Solution: go into Witcher/Data/z_zrotww/Forswearer and delete file cr_witch2_p1.dds.

We have also in FCR a texture for smith on dentist and texture for dentist on smith, but we're working on it.

---------- Zaktualizowano 16:15 ----------

Those minor bugs, we have fixed them, links below. Paste into Data/z_zrotww and override.

Normal version:
http://sendfile.pl/pokaz/245638---BrpD.html
FCR version:
http://sendfile.pl/pokaz/245635---3l1M.html

not important, but guard that use "cr_guard2_c1.dds" texture seem to have a black seam behind their back.

Unfortunatelly it cannot be fixed, the normal maps in the Witcher don't connect properly and that's the result.

Problem with those black seams on backs, heads, chests has been fixed. Till today we had no idea that we are able to change that, but we accidentally found a solution, so we can give you an update. Installator will be updated soon, but for those who have already installed RotWW there are some files you need to unpack into Witcher/Data/z_zrotww/Characters directory.
