TW2: How can I keep a save fot later?

I mean... I'm playing The Witcher 2 and I'm on the last part of Chapter 1, when you must decide if you help Iorveth or Roche. I'm going to help Iorveth, but I want to play again and help Roche, starting from this point. So, I want to keep this last save for later. How can I do it?

Thanks a lot!!!

Just keep these saves and delete the unimportant saves so that you only have a handful saves?
That's how I did it, on the scenes with important choices.

That is easy. Save the game. Go to Documents>witcher2>gamesaves. Find the save that you just made. Copy to another directory for the future purposes :)
Or even easier way: just leave that save and dont delete. You can always see the date when that save was made together with the active quest name of that save.

The only downside to keeping all your saves is that you will quickly end up with 100's - even 1000's of saves (if you make a lot of manual save points) and your saving / loading time will be intolerable while you wait for the game to index this volume. You will notice the sluggish load / save times with even 25 or so saves in the main save directory.

An easy method is to simply make a separate directory organized into folders - eg., Roche Path ; Iorveth Path (or whatever you desire) - and copy your saves out from the main save directory frequently. That will keep the save / load times quick and will give you an organized backup of saves to go back to.

Thank you very much. I couldn't find the folder. I can easily remove older saves now... :p

There is a "delete" button for those purposes :) Even in the ingame menu :) So unnecessary saves can be deleted and only key ones left

360 version is also easy. just copy it to a separate storage device, or just be sure to not overwrite the save in question, ever.

i do hope the 360 version sold well enough to ensure another console port. nothing against the pc version.
