TW2 in Italian is absolutely essential because...

First, I apologize for my EnglishI am writing on behalf of many Italian people very bitter about the expected lack of dubbing the dialogues in Italian in The Witcher 2After the wonderful work done with the first episode, the disappointment is such that some even think to renounce to the game I have canceled my reservation for the collector editionI hope that soon, you will return on this decision, in order to regain the sympathy of many Italian fans of the gameThanks for an answer

Hello, I'm Italian and I apologize in advance for my bad English (I use google translator). I am writing to share with you my disappointment at the decision taken by you not to translate in Italian The Witcher 2.Those who, like me, has appreciated so much the first chapter, did not expect anything less from his successor. There is still time, and many of us hope you will reconsider your decision. The Italian fans there will be grateful, and will continue to acclaim as the best team on the square

Hi my name is Fabrizio and I'm italian. First of all let me apologize for my bad english, I'll try to write at the best of my english knowledge. I finished The Witcher and I loved it. I'm disappointed that you'll not dub the dialogues of the games. I would like that you'll chage your idea for all the italian fans. Hoping that you'll make the italian dubbing, i give you my best regards.

Please, support us, convince publisher to give a complete italian translation. Many people can buy the game in this case.

Guyz, there's no problem for "bad english" here :) We're all friendly. Just spend your two cents to support this thread and let's beg CDP for the Italian dubs. In bocca al lupo!

Dear Devs, Alek or...someone :)I'm here again as herald for those people who contacted me via PM, and those who beg me from other forums and italian sites around the web, to report their own voice. I think you should really take seriously our request even if it sounds a nerdish whining. There are most people angry about the lack of Italian dubs. You cannot listen their voice mostly because they can't speak english (that's why they asked me to do) or are too shy to add their complaint here (believe me or not, it's just like this!).I'm speaking for myself, but I think I can do for many others of your Italian fans.I remember when years ago, I talked to Eriash and Ausir to make the Italian WWiki. I was excited to translate because I was so much in love with TW1 that I wanted to make a guide for my own countrymen. They may need help you know, since someone may not find comfortable to read a walkthrough in English. There're not only speaking language in this wordl, as Polish you should know. And as Polish, You also should know how much important is to read and understand something sounding into your own mainlanguage, speaking directly to you and....of you.Well I worked hard, very hard, on WWiki and all alone at the biginning. Lots of time and hours spent. Game Widow gave a strong help to advance, adding thousands of images and files, giving me tips and suggestion to edit. And now Italian WWiki has 1703 pages, all about you, your games and Sapkowsky's books. Have you ever take a look at that? Have you ever spent your two cents in reading Italian WWiki? I'm still keeping this update with all the news coming on TW2 for the same reason: spreading the word of CDP and The Witcher in my country too. And since more italian videogame sites sometimes give wrong infos to people (like that the game will certainly be released on console too) I think that keeping update Wiki with correct and up to date news from the source is really important.I remember when Eriash one year ago asked me to represent the italian opinion (omg! such a responsability!!!) saying what an Italian fan could find interesting or not in TW2. This is what I told him: it's the sharing of such an ancient culture (I mean between Italy and Poland). We can feel and "breathe" it. Maybe I 'm bnot able to describe what I mean, but you know..... I do hate those generical fantasy games. Those where the environment and the landscape is such stupidly un-historical, with no bases on reality and ancient history of art. Think of DAO or Aeon, WOW or FF, if you know what I mean. But you did! Wou make The Wicther's world so real! That's exactly how you enchanted us. You gave us something concrete and grown-up like. We italians also live in an ancient country, with a deep history. Listening to Geralt and other characters speaking into our own language made it even more...uhm...familiar to us ( I think this is the right word, yes). More intense. Some of the TW2's buyers-to-be say that they're pretty delude, since we all was faithful to have just like in TW1. Most of these people are threating to give up to buy the game, even if already pre ordered. And someone are talking about piracy instead...... >_< OMG!!!!!!!!!!I know this is pretty nasty but I'm asking you this: don't you think the game will have more success and fame if we-italians could appreciate Geralt and his crew's voices in our own language? Don't you think it could be more involving and compelling? Just like our German and French and Polish friends and TW2 addicted companions do feel. I guess you choose to subs in some languages for a right economical reason, perhaps based on the actual sales you had in any single country. I can't say this is wrong, we wholefully understand your reasons.I do not want you think of us that we're spoiled children: indeed we're addicted to TW and loyal fans of you CDProjekt. Me at first, as I have already repeated more times here. I'll always be and I'll certainly BUY the game. I won't never join the pirates crew. But plz, I think those who join this claiming here would be more and more loyal if you at least would listen to us a bit. Thanks for your time. Thanks for such a beatiful game.Always in loveSecondchildren

I don't think that many of the developers read the Community section of the forum. I suggest that, to get your voice heard, you move this thread to the General Discussion of The Witcher 2 section of the forum. After all, it IS about The Witcher 2. And regardless of their ultimate decision, you do deserve to have your voices heard by the developers.

The person who started the thread can ask a moderator to move it. Seeker or Petra Silie or Flash can do it.
