TW2 - Mods not showing up in list... Can't play any of them..

I can't play ANY mods in witcher 2. I follow instructions to the letter where to install them and the mod list is STILL empty. What do I do?

Which mods are you installing? There're two categories of mods for TW2, those made before the toolkit came out, and those using the toolkit. If you're talking about ones from before the toolkit, they won't show up in the mod list.

Anything I download from redkit website..I have the steam version of the game if that makes any difference o_o

Shouldn`t make a difference if the game is Steam or Other version . Are you running your profile as an administrator account ?

Is your Documents folder on the "C" drive or have you moved it ? The other thing I can think of is your game installed in English or does your documents folder contain any special characters .

my documents folder is on my c-drive yes. All english =\

I am having the exact same problem witcher 2 enhanced steam version using Win8 I instal mods as directed and nothing happens, any help appreciated,

In your Documents>Witcher 2>config folder select UserContent ini file . Is there the following
[Packages]
Mount=(name of mod)

Which mod or mods are you trying to install ?

the dice mod so its like the TW1 dice game and the increased carry weight mod, other than that game is great, ty again

Those mods are not installed with REDkit but are installed differently . After downloading and unzipping then if they come with their own folders then simply copy and paste in your Witcher 2>CookedPC folder

tried that still no luck sigh , any further ideas welcome.

After downloading and extracting the Dice mod you should have a folder named Classic Dice Set v1-7-1 now open that folder and you should see environment_levels . Now right click on it and select copy and then go to your Witcher 2>CookedPC folder and in an empty area select paste . Your dice poker mod should now work .

I don`t know which weight mod you`re trying to use but I used the Zero Weight Mod for this example . After extracting , open the Zero Weight mod folder and copy and paste the items folder into your Witcher 2>cookdPC folder
