[TW2- req] Looking for monsters HP mod only

Hi,

I see it is possible to change the HP of monsters as done in 1 mode on the list, but that one also adds other changes i wouldn't like, enhancing Geralt.

So, if anyone is willing to make a mod that only increases HP of monsters by tripple and of soliders by double. Would be great. :D

Geralt has nice swing animations when done in sequence, both fast and hard, and u can even combine them. Very cool moves, but the problem is im to strong, killing them with 2-3 hits which makes combat too easy and boring.

If someone can increase there hp by a large amount, and it would be awesome if it can be done for bosses too.

Thanks! :)

people are supposed to die after getting hit 2 or 3 times by a huge sword. there needs to be a mod that enhances soldier's ability to block and parry. that would add to the challenge.

Block and parrying by soldiers is already nicely done. Attacking a solider on front that either has a huge sword or a shield results mostly on a block and u getting slapped in the face. Attacking them from the sides almost also results in them blocking it. Of course if u don't use a sign first such as Ard or Queen to disorient them a little.

Maybe people are but monsters aren't. A mod that increase there HP by any amount, i prefer big one, will result in longer combat and more chances to die. Than using all those DoTs will have sense. Like incineration, dragon dream bombs, oils that cause critical effects like poison etc... More HP means using more advanced tactics at your disposal, practically u will have to spend a nice amount of bombs and traps u made which will result in u having to make them again after, which actually brings to good use 100+ ingredients in my inventory.

Have you tried playing the insane mod?
Maybe it's not exactly what you're asking for but it's certainly more challenging (or annoying) :D

Nah...i want challenge but without taking out the fun. Most important thing...

Played insane, enemies are almost the same difficulty. I died once, but not because of combat.I paused the game (ESC) and kinda was distracted with something else, when i got back it was a moment or lack of concentration, was in combat when i paused, so i died finding that my saves are lost, and its not because of my skill to be honest, but because of the circumstances.

Also the bugs that can occur in combat, which even in this 1.35 ver are occurring often. Especially the one making Geralt not responding to any commands, so all i can do is move and watch them kill me. To add to the equation my pc is not as powerful enough for me to enjoy the responsiveness of 60 fps per second. Playing here at 15 to 30 fps.

Hence, can't wait for the Dark Mode, even more difficult (but i know it will still be easy...just a hunch) with ability to save the game. Why did they added that...probably cause of not so good reception of the insane mode system. Games are supposed to be fun, it can't be mixed with how much is the game challenging for a player. Fun and challenge can go together so i think the insane mode is absolutely unnecessary. :)

+1 for an increase hp by a substantial amount mod. monsters by triple, humans by double sounds fair. and maybe make some of the end of quest "bosses" have even more hp as some of them go down far too quickly, like the "boss" at the end of the hospital side quest or the wraith guarding the dun banner's standard for instance you'd expect to be harder.

Ye it seems that Dark Mode only added more damage to opponents, but there HP is still the same. Not good...
