A storage would be nice.

And possibly a way to put more items on the quick buttons. I play on PC, but with a controller, so on the d-pad up and down are the default hotkeys for 2 quick-items, but I feel like it's too few, I would prefer something like a circle menu that pops-up and from which we can pick potions and food (like Dragon Age Inquisition), or have an interface like Assasin's Creed: Unity when you press the d-pad buttons and an interface will show which item you choose, something amongst those lines.

And preferably more tabs in the inventory, potions, bombs and books could be in seperate tabs. And possibly put readable documents, maps and books for quests in the same tab as other books but under a header 'For quests' or something. I have to go through a lot of tabs and search for the items I need to read now while most icons for books and documents look the same.

Thats some good stuff for the PC crowd. Didn't know the item select was that limited on PC.

[SUGGESTION] Better inventory management at shopkeepers

I'm sure you've all experienced this problem before: Your inventory is nearing its weight-limits or you need a ton of cash and fast, but it takes ages to go through the hundred or so items in your inventory and find what's weighing you down or make you rich.
And don't you just hate having to leave the shop screen to change your newly-bought equipment, only to then go back to the shop keeper (mashing the space bar or X button to skip all his dialogue you've heard a hundred times already) to sell all your old gear?

What I'm getting at is that an improved inventory system with filters (sort by weight, value) and an extra tab at the shopkeepers could really save a lot of time spent doing boring inventory management.

1) Allow assortment of shop items and crafting items by various options such as Level (the most important when crafting), weight, alphabetical and type.
2) Show us how many items we already have of something before we purchase it or discover that we have none and perhaps we should purchase the item. Especially useful for us alchemy types!
3) Some skills require better explanations to what exactly they do. Further, especially ones that seem to function WITHOUT being hooked up and those that do require you to slot them.

That would be pretty rad. Inventory organization in this game is pretty wonky.

1. A storage box would be nice. Place it at inns like in the previous two Witcher games.
2. Better inventory management.
3. Mark books, letters, notes etc as ALREADY READ when done so like in the Witcher 1.
4. When updating character bio, quest and so on make the updated text in another color (like yellow).

Marking books and letters as read could relieve some big headaches.

Really can't agree with this... firstly I always feel I come out of combat on top. Wear on armour and weapons is trivial - cost to repair can easily be replaced selling herbs or monster ingredients. The impact of wear is marginal and not significant either (so far at least ~ I haven't completely broken anything yet).

What you should do it to make sure no one is prepared to pay to have that monster killed before you dispatch it... so explore. Talk to the people who you need information from, who as a witcher you are supposed to help. Then go and kill any and all monsters you find... but get the most experience and money from it too.

You can collect and eat raw meat and liver that you find in many monster drops, and often human mobs have food, more than enough to compensate for damage taken.
Food is only expensive to buy, but you can hunt for your own for free... and get more as a direct consequence of 'un-needed' fights or looting. It doesn't sell for enough to be worth hoarding and selling off.

If you are finding/crafting new equipment then I find that my "good kit" is never close to being worn out before I have dumped it and am using new.

Is all the balance perfect... possibly not. But it does work, and encourages doing things the "witcher way". Leave monsters alone unless you have to go through them, or they are making enough of a nuisance of themselves that someone wants to pay to remove them.

XP was designed to be slow progressing in order to keep the user somewhat synched with the main story.

Next expansion (after scheduled 2 already announced) to include Homosexuality.

I would like to see this in the Witcher 3. Most other games are coming to terms with it. Let's not fall behind what's "in" CD Projekt Red ;)

Let the flamming....begin.

Vibration Mod

Yeah, just a warning this is a stupid console kiddie type post. I game on a PC with an xbox 360 controller.

I want to, in the future when the game's scripts become more accessible, modify some of the scripts in Witcher 3 Wild Hunt to make it so that the controller vibrates every time you strike an enemy, not just during killing blows.

Anyone willing to help me understand how to go about this?

Like, where I would go in the config files? I assume it isn't possible right now but will be soon once the devs release that .in patch

There's already homosexuality in The Witcher. Phillipa is a lesbian character. Saskia is bisexual though she seems to prefer dwarves ("It's a dragon thing." - Saskia).

Besides, the world of The Witcher is a pretty degenerate backwards world with traditional worldviews, including sexism and oppression of homosexuals. If you're ever going to meet a homosexual person in The Witcher he/she is probably not going to be very open or forthcoming about it. It's just part of the setting.

The elves seem to be more open-minded about homosexuality though. I'm not sure if I ever saw a homosexual elf in the games but I know they exist in The Witcher universe.

Edit: I just remember Dethmold being a homosexual. And as expected he's not very forthcoming about it, He doesn't really wear his homosexuality as a badge and why should he?

Well, there is a homosexual hunter guy you run into in the game... Pretty sure he was a main quest character, not 100%
