Yes. Subjectively, to me, warts and all, it is the pinnacle of RPG game design.

TW3 is my favourite rpg of all time. anyone else feel like tw3 ruined every other rpg, and feel discouraged from other games

No it isn't hard, but it is a lame way to view things. In this way everything is subjective, very easy to avoid valid points from different standing points. Very childish to say so. And unproductive.

Not EVERYTHING is subjective. Graphical fidelity is objective (art style is subjective). Sound quality is objective (sound design is subjective). AI is objective (AI tasks and spacing is subjective).
Game size can be objective (what you do with the size is subjective).
Managing to discuss subjective qualities in a work of art (as critique has been doing for thousands of years) is quite valid and dare I say very important. But it is also not as easy as it seems.
You need to have vast gaming knowledge, understand literary concepts and even the technology behind a game, the historical context, cultural context and be able to identify what it actually wants to do with itself to be able to give at LEAST valid critique.
This is the reason some ... reviewers ... from certain sites... suck so much. They dont even have what equates to elementary school knowledge of literature. They should not be reviewing anything really.
I dont want to come of as an ass... but I think that neither the "arena" we use here is good enough, nor are we quite on that level to create valid and interesting critique.

Re-read what I wrote. I dont see you (or I at this point in time) leveling real and serious critique that would be taken well by both fans and detractors of the game. Not at all.

My own problems ? You'd be surprised how many people are complaining about the gameplay, if you would stop and look. Lot of things going on. Youtube, facebook. I lost count how many people are criticizing the gameplay. I'm one among many. Nothing special. I have problems with the shitty AI in bethesda games. Why cant they copy the system GSC had made? Ohh wait... that will change the entire feeling of the game and some of its themes even...

Well, mostly.Witcher 3... was refreshing. It actually worked!
There's a difference between broken and "I didn't like it".It worked ? Interesting... The scraped combat system, alchemy system, rune crafting system, leveling system...
Apparently it looks very broken.
The main problem of this game is that it tries to look like Mass Effect too much, while having its own original Witcher story that you would normally expect. And it's made for girls, I think. Look at who we go into the final battle: 5 girls, one elf (usually gay) and you, the Witcher. lol. Everybody have their pads? Yes? Ok, lets get ready to ruuuuumble...

And like I said previously I certainly don't feel that this game did anything to other games, nor raised standard or any bullshit like that.
This is overhyped masochistic piece of mexican drama carring some witcher flavor. If you don't see this then you are most likely illiterate. Or a girl. Or not familiar with other witcher games...
