Yes on steam and GOG, if you haven't already bought the DVD version, otherwise like other poster said get a cheap DVD drive. My DVD drive is dead. Are there any plans for a digital download?
Was the witcher 2 preload one week before release?1 week before release is what you should assume unless stated otherwise. I heard GOG matched Steam preload for TW2, I expect the same for 3.
Excuse me, but what's the problem actually? To be honest I don't quite understand what's difficult about it to just activate it. One week will probably be fine for me, but it's a close call for people with even worse internet (I'm running 6k).We are still working with GOG, Steam, Sony, etc on pre-loads and do not have an exact date yet. I think Sid's estimate of 1 week is safe, but it isn't a sure thing yet.
When we know, we'll let everyone know.![]()
My guess would be getting them to sign the agreement saying it will be available x days before release... Sometimes talking with companies is a big wait game...Excuse me, but what's the problem actually?
IF you want it on steam then buy it on steam, cancel your gog order... They should allow refundBecause now its activated for GOG but I wanted it for steam actually :x Any possibilitys?
Negotiations take time. This is a deal that all parties involved have to be in agreement with, before anything is actually put up for downloading.Excuse me, but what's the problem actually? Oh and sorry about you awful internet speed. That will take you a while to download. Luckily/conveniently just upped through promotion offer to 25MBS(I'm running 6k).

Yeah, I wouldn't have asked but apparently Microsoft is easily able to provide a (very) early pre-load. And GOG is basically the same company, so what's to keep them from simply starting it? My post probably sounded a bit more offensive than intended (I'm not native speaker), I'm actually really curious because I don't really see an issue.Negotiations take time. Demanding that something be done early when it is not needed to meet an established schedule is a good way to get your demand ignored. Talk like this is cheap when you're just a forum participant. If you're actually in on the negotiation, posing a demand like that will cost you credibility, good will, and a lot of money for no good reason at all.
