I've got cable, maybe Steam was just being slow as fuck. Probably that.

Seems to be so. And at a whopping 100kb/s. I should be getting roughly 6mb/s but I guess the GOG severs are a bit busy now..

Oh no, the achievement list has shown up on Galaxy. I'm forcing myself not to scroll through them, but I can't unsee the first 5. They could have waited for those to show up, like maybe including them in the unlock patch :mean:

Well, I'm glad that Steam did that initial 13MB so that it could just be set to auto-update. Woke up this morning to find it was already 75% complete. Which, with my internet speeds, was pretty impressive. 17 minutes to go

Mine is normal for a 2meg download. Going well so far. Not so much for my Step Brother...

My estimate before today was between 8 and 16 hours for Steam, around 3-5 days for GOG (Not because of GOG, but because of my ISP's crappy international speeds. Steam is local.) Steam's just finished, I think it was around 6 hours - Wow!

I'm getting "Error - Content still encrypted" if I hit Play. And no "Verify" option. I assume that's normal? This is my first Steam pre-load.

Don't download from Galaxy. From GOG.com works perfect.

No. Steam is Steam.

Galaxy resumes the download automatically. You don't lose progress.

You don't have to pause it. Just exit Galaxy and next time you start it up it resumes from where you left off.

They're not doing that for W3 as of now. Maybe in the future.
